Not true. If that were the case, HKT's 'K' team would be Team KIII and not KIV. JKT is the group that has KIII. Even though the non Japanese groups aren't related to the overseas sister groups, the team numbers still go in order of debut date no matter what country the 48 group is from.

 

I think the issue with BEJ and GNZ being SNH-only sister groups should be set aside for now until we have clearer situation on it.

Also with 2nd gen audition, I don't think they will be in hurry, considering NMB and HKT's new KKS audition going on at the moment. Maybe later in the year, if they have to.

 

After HKT and nmb it should be AKB's turn to hold auditions.

I don't think we'll have an NGT 2nd one before 2017.

Look at it from Nogizaka46's experience.
I want them to have 2nd gens or 2nd draftees, but not before next year.
With Japan's dying interest in idols, groups are developing slower than before. NGT already have a surplus of senbatsu worthy members, they don't need to hurry.

SNH & JKT are still AKB48 overseas sister groups, GNZ & BEJ won't be (maybe more like cousins lmao)
which is why BEJ & GNZ have teams B, E & NIII instead of BIII, EII & NIV

 

No one is making a huge deal out of it, we're just a little "oh that's a bummer" because it's now a broken tradition. Calm down and stop ridiculing people for discussing things no matter how petty they are.

I actually get the vibes that they might split from the main group and change themselves completely. At least JKT wants to collaborate with the Japanese groups..

 

Why is everyone so desperate for a second generation of NGT?

By now they're already too late to get G, unless AKS decides differently, so it won't make any difference. Let the current girls get settled first, get that first single and keep getting more promotion possibilities so there's a good foundation to work with.

They only had their official debut 3 months ago, I'm not sure if apart from AKB any group had a second team that quickly. On top of that, SSK season is coming up, and I'm 90% sure nobody wants girls to debut during that mess.

 

Team 8 debut April 3rd, 2014. Two months before SSK2014, on June 7th. Just sayin' it has happened.

Also since you have to account for the time it takes to announce an audition, hold the audition, and train the new girls, it's not like 2nd gen would appear next week or anything. idk.

 

Basically all i want. And so the 2nd gen ace can be airdropped to the top3 and we'll have a homegrown top3
