Also, men. JIJIPRESS footage from the 2016-09-10 Natsu Matsuri in Osaka: if the video does not show watch the video here
That is more so personal preference but women that are in their 50s or older feel that it's a must for ladies to have black hair (especially if their son is getting married). This comes from personal experience and surveys that show which member(s) they like and why. Of course, not saying that all men and women is the same but I still feel like men is just casual about it compared to women.
I just read this about the comparison between the DMM SD, DMM HD, and LOD version of the theater performance http://akb48taimuzu.livedoor.biz/archives/49532349.html What I don't get is why the DMM version has blurring? It must be a post process since the LOD version doesn't have it. Why they add that? Especially in the SD version, the implementation is really bad because it just introduce ghosting with green and red color. When watching the DMM version, I thought for a moment that something is wrong with my setup because I do use motion smoothing (SVP), but it turns out that it was a problem with the video itself. Personally I think it doesn't make sense to add blurring. Of course if they deliver the video archive in 60fps and baked the motion smoothing/interpolation into the video, that's fine. Maybe the extra fps can minimize the ghosting effect. But the thing is, they don't do that. It is like they just want to add some cheap motion blur implementation to get a movie like quality. And since they probably use some cheap implementation, it just cause ghosting. ------------- This is unrelated to the above rant. http://s.ameblo.jp/akihabara48/entry-12199572581.html?utm_source=akb48&utm_medium=twitter (mobile browser only!) Basically about the bug unit releasing voice recording about date or something. What I want to talk about is the member participating. Both of the bug unit members will participate with the exception of Meru, Nagisa, and Miku. Why they are excluded, I don't know. Their fans probably wouldn't be happy....
Same here. Blond hair makes them look 'less Japanese' to my eyes...however, it's only a matter of taste...
AKB48 performed at Seven Luck Casino in Korea. 16 members included AKB- Okada, Kawamoto, Sasaki, SKE -Matsui, Suda, Oya, NGT- Nakai, Ayaka. Is this the first time AKB members performed in Korea? Source: http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/mars_new_life/69573380.html
According to this http://akb48taimuzu.livedoor.biz/archives/49565309.html Basically it is saying about Yui taking over the lecture room on AKB48Show. It was posted in her mail (mobame?) that she just finished recording for it. Of course I haven't seen the mail myself nor I can find on the net, but it seems true. She is the GM after all. I really miss this segment since it can reveal, even if it just for a little bit, about the members problem.
The first time AKB performed in South Korea was in 2010 at the Asia Song Festival. According to this tweet, the following members went to Seoul: Jurina, Dasu, Rika, Mion, Naachan, Saho, Tomu, Yukarun, Nattsun, Sayaya, Ayakani, Masana, Mogi, Yuria, Renacchi, Tano.
I just saw a couple of their photos at Gimpo Airport just now. And a video of KojiMako waving to the fans: https://twitter.com/L3081229/status/777301459985588224 Cr. https://twitter.com/nanase7_7, https://twitter.com/L3081229
More pics from Korea https://twitter.com/spoolin_gom My favorite: Wrong pic; a better smile: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CsmYTcBVMAA6lqM.jpg
http://sukima.tistory.com/6 More pictures! I think these pictures of them at the airport is them going back to Japan.
More pics of Jurina at the airport, posting them here since the Jurina thread is down. No idea why they wear mask. It makes them look so suspicious and stand out more. Source: http://komorebi0617.tistory.com/646
I think it's more of the opposite. I find that the mask is more hard to recognize. I could barely tell who some of these members are with the mask and no makeup. Some literally looks like they are in their 40s (no joke). Unless they are all walking in a group with securities and fans being notified before the members arrived, it's really hard to notice them
^ nah 40s is exagerate.. they do look ugly (bc no make up), but not to that extent beside, wearing mask is like a culture in japan, everyone is wearing mask in japan, all ages. and its become their habitual.
Last Friday there was a prime-time documentary on TV here in the UK in which the English actress Joanna Lumley visited Tokyo and one of the first things she pointed out was the large number of mask wearers in the city. Yes it looks quite strange to non-Japanese people like myself but it's perfectly normal there.
@Matsui Hikari I think most girls look bad with out makeup lols. I guess it ok to wear mask in Asia. In the U.S if you wore a mask at the airport I can guarantee you airport security would be all over you.
