    Honestly, they called it right. Out of everyone in NGT, I think Rika's the most ready for the spotlight, character wise, personality wise, identity wise, and support wise.

    It isn't just about readiness tho. Sometimes we see a member that is ready but didn't get an immediate push and sometimes we see a member that wasn't ready but receive an immediate push.
    Probably the biggest concern for management is the fact that Rika isn't super young. If they want to push her, they need to do it now, otherwise she would already be in her 20. They see a potential in her and it would be stupid for management to miss this opportunity. Rika probably also realize that she isn't super young, thus trying really hard to appeal to the fans.
    Btw, she was also selected for an 48G job in Korea. They should be back to Japan today. We are talking about it at AKB general thread. Having said that, I don't see any clear picture of Rika. Most of the members were wearing mask in the pictures. Haven't really looked for her in those pictures tho.

    Interesting points from interview:

    Fan: What do you consider be a uwaki (cheating)?
    Rika: From the instant I caught you in another girl's lane it's cheating! I also consider being cheating if you're carrying another girl's HS ticket in your cardholder. I do check these ones, so be careful!

    Fan: You've just got in the AKB48's next single Selection. Congrats! Is there another goal other than this one?
    Rika: There's a lot! Right now what I want the most is to perform Waruki in a big stage! I want NGT48 to release the debut single as soon as possible.

    Fan: What genre of song do you expect for NGT48's debut single?
    Rika: I'd like to go with a super idol-ish song but Manager Imamura and I aren't good friends, so probably it won't happen. But I hope there will be a super idol-ish coupling song at least.

    Fan: You quite often wear twintails (pigtails). Can you fly with them?
    Rika: The answer is ... YESSS! According to what I've already said on the Showroom, I've got to go back to the moon flying with my twintails. I hope I can take the last train later on tonight ...
    Fans: Last train?
    Rika: I catch the train, then after a train connection, I'll go flying with my twintails. lol

    So, watched the pre ANA before school yesterday but had to leave before the full show. Thanks to Humbucker for the upload. Also thanks to Humbucker for the showroom! I was able to catch the last half hour. It is always more fun live than it is on video.
