Sasshi, Mayuyu and Yukirin went to a Morning Musume '16 concert at Nippon Budokan today according to twitter reports.

Lots of interesting and fun info. Akiyoshi is a "hidden" fan of Sasshi. There were a lot of female fans in theater according to Tomiyoshi, so this confirms that Sasshi's female fanbase is growing.

Liked how Sasshi came up with a fun story about her cats and advice about beauty (how leg cuffs make legs look shorter) on the spot. Sasshi's observation skills are as remarkable as ever - she figured out that Mikurin was a Birthday stage conductor and gave specific advices and praises to members. Sasshi's declaration that she has confidence in her happy life impressed members, which they expressed in their blogs.

But aside from tour announcement the most important piece of info was about upcoming Sousenkyo and graduation:
"I'll probably do a Birthday stage again next year. As for Sousenkyo... If I enter next SSK, it'll probably be my last one. If I even enter, that is. Don't get funny ideas though, I'll probably still be in a group next year and a year after that, but I am thinking to make next SSK the last one. Not sure how it pans out when the time comes though... "

My interpretation of those words is that Sasshi would like to opt out from entering SSK, but since she doesn't plan on graduating soon, management simply won't allow her to, because that way they'll lose shitload of money (we're talking millions here!) for no reason. The only way for top member to opt out from entering SSK is to graduate, so my guess is that if Sasshi won't enter SSK 2018, she'll announce her graduation sometime in the second part of 2018 and graduate in the first part of 2019, so this will give us another couple of years in the group.

All 48 variety shows have been greatly reduce both in quality and quantity. Nemousu was reduced to MC okada at HS events for 3 seasons. Sad cause I became a fan through their variety shows.

I've just realized one thing: couldn't it be that Sasshi's planning her own generation change at SSK? If there's a group that can do it nowadays, it's only HKT48. Maybe she's waiting for Sakura to get stronger a little more so she can compete with other contenders, aside of Sasshi's personal plans?

 

I always get that feeling of when Sasshi looking at Haruppi during SSK is the same feeling as when Takamina looked at Sayanee .... can nv forget that moment when both Takamina & Sayanee walked side by side and Takamina said to her .... next year .....

I guess one of Sasshi's strongest desire for HKT is that both Sakura & Haruppi are at the kami7, the 2nd wave break into senbatsu / at least top few in Undergirls... 3rd wave to be inside Undergirls ..
basically, the few members representing their gens will be standing tall

The previous experience at RedWhite let her learnt that she alone is not enough to support HKT for bigger events / better future, hence its better to build a strong foundation that will last the next few years before the eventual departure, which Sasshi, I assume, will also make plans for herself to transit from idol to variety related jobs

 

Sorry, I'll be cheering on White Team this time, despite it is the "underdog team".
But it would be great if Sasshi sings the "Satomi's song" or any collaboration with Keyakizaka46.
