9. Rikachan's letter to her fans

One of the highest points in Rikachan's birthday stage 2017 was, besides the letter from her father with some harsh words lol, the letter that Rikachan wrote to her fans thanking them.





To all my fans who always support me,

First of all, I'm sorry. I'm spoiled and abuse all of you, I get angry when somebody cheats me, I cry, I laugh, I lose my temper, my emotions go up and down. I'm sorry for showing you all this. But this means how much I trust you and love you, to the point I show you how I really am. The only people capable to pilot me (who looks like a roller coaster) are you, the manager (Imamura Etsuro) and my mom.

I always seem to be full of confidence but that's not true. I'm not cute and not even that funny and I don't have any special skills. Even when I became the center, I thought "I'm not suited for this" and to be honest, I almost lost confidence sometimes because of some people's comments. I got frightened and couldn't do my best at handshakes. But my fans encouraged me with always smiling "Rikachan! Rikachan!", they pushed my back many times "It's alright, just be yourself". My fans who support me are really warm and kind people. Thank you always.

I think I've said it before, but at the time of the General Election I had thought "It's enough" and was thinking of leaving Niigata and giving up my dream. But then, I got a wonderul rank of 23rd place from all of you. Seeing that there were so many people striving for someone like me, I decided that I would never turn my back to the stage again until the day my dream comes true.

It was all of you that allowed me to be an idol. I can sing a dance, two things I love to do, in front of you thanks to everyone. I need all of you. I'm nothing without you. I can work hard but there are many more times when I'm discouraged. But I can stand up thanks to my fans, members, staff and my family, who always pull me by the front and push my back forward. And I love to be an idol. As I've alread said by mobile mail, if I could reborn 100 times, in all of them I'd like to be an idol and meet everyone. You are my worthmost treasure.

I've turned 20 year old, and although I'm an adult now, I'll be an even more sexy and cute Rikachan! I don't know since when I became sexy and cute ... but I'll definitely make everyone happy, so please support me with all your strengh. It's an absolute command of the Princess!

"No oshihenning"[1] is an absolute command! This is Nakai Rika of NGT48, also known as "Princess Rika"!

We participated in the Tokyo Idol Festival (TIF) on August 6! This was the second time we attended to this event, but this time it was outdoor, unlike last year that had been indoor. I was glad because always had an outdoor image of summer festivals.

Being able to perform in front of people who love idols was a good experience. At first, I was more nervous than usual thinking that the people present were very demanding with idols, but the calls and the excitement were fervent, and I personally got my tension up and I was able to perform with fun!!

Also at the backstages, there was a sight unique to TIF, eveywhere you looked at, it was full of idols! I was just stunned and I myself didn't have the courage to talk to any of them. I was staring at them like a "gloomy" person when an idol noticed me and came to talk to me. There was also an idol among them that knew about me, we talked about various thing and took pictures together. I was so happy. (laughs)

The verdict, to me TIF is a godly event both for those who want to see the idols and for the idols themselves! I hope I can participate next year too in this godly event with the NGT48. Thanks in advance!!

"No oshihenning"[1] is an absolute command! This is Nakai Rika of NGT48, also known as "Princess Rika"!

Today I'm going to talk about the Janken[2] Tournament. It is another representative event of AKB48 Group along with the General Election. This year, unlike the previous editions, we'll have a unique tournament in which it is possible to team up with other members and participate as a unit. I have decided to team up with Komiyama Haruka-san of AKB48.

I started talking to Komiharusan-san at the filming of the drama "Cabasuka Gakuen" (Nippon TV). Also, when I was lonely in the "High Tension" Selection, she really cared about me and we became even more friends. She also knows my personality well. Maybe it's just me, but she's got this, how can I say, air of little devil, heel[3] and I feel that we have some things in common. The things we like, that we find cute and hobbies are alike. Because of that, she invited me to team up with her.

I'm unbelievably weak at Janken, so I'll leave it all to Komiharu-san. If I play and lose, Komiharu-san's fans will kill me ... We've even thought that it would be nice it we had cute costumes like little devils in case we advance to the main event. Thus, I really want to advance to the main event. I'll do my best!!!

... and that's what I had written, but we lost in the prelims (tears). However, I definitely want to do something as a unit with Komiharu-san. People concerned, we are waiting for offers! Thank you in advance!!
