    Furage...

It's pretty common where CDs and DVDs are sold on the Tuesday (for Wednesday releases, or Thursday for Friday releases) before the actual Wednesday release day...

The album is pretty good. I don't think there was an outstanding track (like "BAD DAYS" was on her first album), but the second half of this album is really good. I did like Track #10 (Kassai) a lot tho lol.

Yubikiri is my favourite song in the album, so I translated the lyrics!

    Enjoy!

    Composer: Sayaka Yamamoto

    Lyricist: Sayaka Yamamoto

    Just another typical day

When a spark comes out of nowhere

    And all of a sudden

Your face surfaces in my mind

As though I'm standing in defiance

Against all the times we couldn't meet

A feeling that's rapidly swelling within me

    Cause it's you after all

    Right at this moment

I wonder if you’re making someone smile

"Someday we’ll be able to meet again

At the same place as always"

Though I knew what you said

I was weak and broke down

Even if things begin to change

And I get used to it day by day

    I won't bid you goodbye

    That’s our pinky promise

    Several diverging paths

    Leading to different directions

    I've gone on ahead

But I wonder how it's been going for you

    Surely at the very end

    There's bound to be

One broad road where our paths intersect back together

Someday we’ll be able to meet again

Though I have no basis behind that

    Expectation mixed together with wishes

It’s like a good luck charm

    When you feel disheartened

    Just remember this tune

Even when you’re alone hum it to yourself

    That’s our pinky promise

Someday when we’re able to meet again

I’ll know for myself for the first time

That we chose the right path for ourselves

But till that day comes I’ll hold my head high

Cause I’ll make it one way or another

    Walking side by side again

    Just like that day

    You together with me

    That’s our pinky promise

Hi-STANDARD is #1 (ironic how Sayanee went to a Hi-STANDARD stand during her Tower Records visit).

I mean, who are they? They're one of the older bands, right? (Not as well-known as, say, B'z, but still...)

I just got my copy in the mail today. I'll have to try and sneak in a few tracks while I'm working.

They're a punk band that's been around for a while. I like their stuff, they do some pretty good covers, too. Most of their songs are in English, too.

I only really listened to her first album like a week or two ago but I really enjoyed it loads. I haven't had the chance to listen to the second album but I'm looking forward to it

Sayanee's mini acoustic live event (or 'commemoration event', or whatever it was called) that she live streamed on LINE Live. She sang 'Joker', 'Third Man', 'Nande Demo' and 'Melody' (from her 1st album), with Koji Kusakari and Takahiro Konagawa on guitar and keyboard. By the end of it, around 50,000 people were watching the stream.

Her appearance on CDTV (countdown TV) artist file, along with Dream Ami, is uploaded. There was a lot of chatting lol (makes me wonder what they talked about), and then Sayanee performed 'Joker' on a lovely stage and it was awesome, DO NOT miss it:

if the video does not show watch the video here

If youtube takes it down, the whole show is uploaded to 48videodouga. 5:15 is where she sings 'Joker', and like I said it looks awesome, don't miss that part!

Honestly, this album is not solid enough. Some songs feels so bland.
It's nowhere near the level of the first album.

yea, now that I've listened to it a few times I really don't care for any of the songs except for Track 10 (which I mentioned in an earlier post too on my first listen). Kind of unfortunate. I already look forward to her next release lol.
