(NEWS) AKB48 Shuffle at AKB48 12th Anniversary

I think they are preparing to disband, probably because Toyota wont be renewing the contract. Just a speculation tho.

As long as Toyota keeps sponsoring, I don’t think Team 8 would disband at Management’s whim. For the time being, I’m content... AS LONG AS team songs come back to AKB singles.

What I would like now, though, is preparations for a 17th generation. Team 8 covering for the holes is certainly better than borrowing SG talent to make a quick fix, but Team 8 girls have their priorities and would certainly like to work for their native team than their second... maybe with a roster of Kenkyuusei in the near future the group can finally relax.

Moving Mion to A along with Yuiyui tho. Its either they are pushing both at the front or they gave up on Mion.

 

I hope they do the 2 SG Members at a time in AKB48 Singles (Like how we always got Jurina and Rena in AKB48 Singles). How'd I do it

They already have a B and K stage on the schedule, along with performers for B. Very interested what's gonna happen with that.

Edit: Also, new stages or just unit shuffles? At least a waiting stage if the former, I'm going to scream if they replace M.T. with something 5+ years old.

 

Now the initial shock is over, let the hate comments begin!

 

I guess that, even if the whole of Team 8 was given a Kennin, it kinda feels like it’s actually a move towards progress. Instead of double dipping with SG girls, the whole mess is kept in one place without dragging anyone else to do the job the group itself is supposed to do, and many things happened that people wanted to see. It’s not optimal, with the massive Team 8 “borrow” and all that but it’s at least somewhat efficient and I guess that’s soothing. And the whole Eito reliance gives one more message: Team 8 are full-fledged AKB members just like everyone else and should be treated as such.

 

Furthermore, I think it has to do with Team 8 somehow being far more powerful than the other four Teams (and those teams have also been depleted of their numbers in the last three years).

I'm genuinely interested to see what Berin would do next year. And Tanao do really needs a genuine captaincy.

 

i wonder if eito member thread will moved to their new Team thread or stay in Team 8 section thread..
because without them, each team only have 8 - 12 members cmiiw
