Announced at AKB48 Kouhaku. A new Mexican Drama called L.I.K.E. is going to have 1 of the 4 Female Leads be from the 48Group. Whomever they pick will be studying abroad in for a Year.

I don't think a lot of super underrated members will participate since it's too risky. Disappearing from the eyes of the fans for more than one year with very little chances of really earning a safe place in the South American acting industry seems a bit meh
But if they do I hope things will work out for them !
I don't have any member that comes to my mind so I'll just stalk this thread to see if any of you have a good idea

^ Mexico is in North America, not south.
First is they want someone to have fun and learn stuff they could send anyone. I they want someone that could actually maybe make a new career for herself... She needs to be smoking hot otherwise she'll be a meme character.

No what I meant by this is that as they speak Spanish succeeding in Mexico opens door for the South American market which has so many Spanish speaking countries (kinda like succeeding in the US opens the European market)

sooo the drama they said they are doing is like this one which was a hit back in 2004 in mexico and the lucky girl will not just be in the drama, she will also be in the unit that will debut from that drama

Is it even an audition? I didn't hear everything of it exactly but I never seem to have heard them mention it.
Feels like they will just announce their pick. Also not too surprising seeing they said that it's for the entirety of 2018, quite soon.
