Thank You for ALL these Subs. I think if you're 20 (like the Coming of Age ceremony)- You should be exempt from the Dating Ban. 20 years old you're a grown woman. If she was 14- 17 I think it would be shady to have a Guy relationship & a betrayal to her fans. She's a tough cookie! "AKB48 53rd Single World Selection General Election"[1] has finished! What is this feeling of libertation? Finally, the General Election has finished this year too!

I was able to go up from the 46th place of the prelims and ranked 37th in the end. Even though I fell down in the ranks comparing to last year, I was really happy that so many people voted for so controversial a person like me. (I'm sorry for the scandal) and thank you very much!!

And, in the another battle -- the election event of SHOWROOM (SR)[2] -- I got 1st place!! We made it!!!!! From the half part of the event, I found myself challenging myself for my pride as world's number one SR maniac (?) I thought "There's no meaning in getting anything else but 1st place!" and used the free-time I had between jobs and even my sleeping time to broadcast. It was many times more harsh than the actual General Election ... So, in many ways, I'm happier for this rank. (laugh) Thank you so much for everyone who accompanied and supported me, from early in the morning until late night! I love you guys ♡

By the way, there will be some prize as a reward for SR 1st place, right? What?? There will be nothing? If really there is nothing, I'm going to wonder what were all those painful days for ...

Well, if there is nothing at all, let's make a "Nakai Rika SR 1st Memmorial Special Feature" in the Weekly Playboy! Folks of the editorial department, I'm counting on you!!

I'm currently serving as the navigator in the exposition "Meito Art Museum's Masterpieces Exhibition Japanese-style Paintings in Love"[1], which is being held at The Suiboku Museum, Toyama[2] in my hometown.

It seems that in Toyama, the TV advertisement with my narration has been broadcast quite a lot. Has anyone seen that? When I was told about this work, I wondered "What? Why me?," because, you know, it's a pretty serious job, isn't it? (sweat) Looks like even the staff replied to the offer "Are you sure you want to use our Nakai?" (← Hey!) I heard they wanted to "soften the serious image" of the event. Soften ... what the ... (laugh)

I also went to the art museum the other day to participate in the "gallery talk" event. Since it was about art museums, it's needless to say that my knowledge about the subject was close to zero ... I learned how to enjoy Japanese-style paintings[3] and ink wash paintings[4] with the help of the professionals. I had to choose five things in my favorite work of art through a catalog beforehand and in the event I was asked: "What points do you like in this work?," to which I answered honestly "I like it because it transmits a erotic feeling!" Everyone laughed, but then the professional explained: "In fact, it's a work you can feel sexiness!" See? My eyes are nothing to sneeze at! Although, I don't have any expressive talent. (laugh)

"Japanese-style Paintings in Love" is being held until July 8 (Sun)! Please, pay a visit there! And I want jobs in Toyama again!! Folks of staff, I'm counting on you!

This time I'm going to write about the premiere of NGT48 Team G's 1st Stage "Saka Agari"[1], which has started on July 1st. A new Team G has been formed, and I moved from Team NⅢ to Team G.

Even though the new stage was more and more close to start, I was only able to begin practicing the dance lessons late because of my other jobs, and ended up joining the other members only three days before the first performance. On that day, after finishing my work in Tokyo, I rushed to Niigata, where some members remained at the theater. They had already rehearsed all day long and probably were tired, but nonetheless they remained there for me, only to match the choreography with me. I was so shy to say it back then, but I almost cried because of everyone's kindness. (tears) Everyone accepted a person like me and I couldn't bring even more problems to them, so I practiced with seriousness, like had never before, and even practiced dancing in the dressing room in the remaining time. (laugh)

The dance teacher memorized perfectly the dance steps of my position for me; my personal manager adjusted all my schedule for everything to work out; the sound team also remained until late to manage the settings ... I was able to participate in the premiere of the new stage thanks to the support of several people. I was able to perceive once again what a wonderful group NGT48 is.

Of course, the presence of fans waiting for me was very important. It was a premiere in which I felt happiness. I hope I can perform again soon. Please everyone, come to Niigata to see our stage!

COMMEMORATIVE BANNER (HANSHAKE EVENT)

Rikachan's fans gathered to commemorate the 1st place in the Showroom event and 37th place in SSK with a banner made by Konogi (@mozukungt48). She showed up in wheelchair because of her back hurting. Apparently, she's got an innate problem in her hip joints (?) which gets worse from time to time. This time, it got worse after the shooting of SR Senbatsu's song MV, which couldn't be delayed. She was absent of some slots in the latest handshake events already because this problem.

^ I'd say, the teasing in Sukatto Japan wasn't about taking unauthorized photos but about Rika's "iro iro" words in her SSK speech

I think, in her latest SR Rika said that her pigeon toes are because of her hip problems.
I wonder if she'll be able to perform normally if this continues... there been an awful lot of hiatuses because of health issues lately...

 

Oh yeah, I mean, they've creatively made a skit relating taking photos to the fact that she got photos taken, and sure, the "iro iro" line confirms they were teasing her about her scandal.

Kinda sad to know that her pigeon toes are because of her hip problems. She's well aware of that after all. We just don't know if this recent worsening is momentary or if the problem has gradually worsened in the last years. Either way, she can't make much physical effort for a while or stay stood for a long time, which makes handshake events problematic. She's been recording Youth High School sitting on a stool as well.
