I guess they're going to do one popular member plus one less popular member. Tama and Mukai as the popular members and Reno and Ayati as their less popular counterparts.
I have mixed feeling about this. Personally, among the less popular 3rd gen I prefer Reno. I just don't like the baka treatment. She's pretty imo, tall but somehow cute, a bit shy I think. Seeing now that there's a chance all 3rd gen might get their shot at Senbatsu, that's a good thing to me. But...... Though I favor 3rd gen many times over 2nd gen, if they're gonna do that, I would also feel really bad. Why can't Miria, a former UG center be Senbatsu, but looks so easy for 3rd gen? Doesn't look right.
I also prefer 3rd gen many times over but I really think this is bad management. They should have given each 2nd gen a chance after they rotated the 1st gens. It wouldn't hurt that much to give the 2nd gens 1. One senbatsu chance each. 2. A photobook. 1st gens got one. It wouldn't interfere with any other members. 3. A 5th year anniversary concert. Same as above, it wouldn't hurt anyone. These are things I want for the 3rd gen but I don't want the 2nd gen skipped. If for nothing else, so that 2nd gen fans don't harbour bad feelings about the 3rd gen members.
3 spot on senbatsu for 2nd gen with rotation for 1 or 2 person each single i think is acceptable even it's less than the amount 3rd gen had.
The run of 3rd Gen songs has ended, for now. Sanbanme no Kaze Omoide First Mirai no Kotae Boku no Shoudou Tokitokimekimeki Jibun janai kanji What a great run...
I'm gonna sort them into my favorites: Sanbanme no Kaze Jibun janai kanji Tokitokimekimeki Mirai no Kotae Boku no Shoudou Omoide First Although the bottom 4 can be stacked together as they are equally nice.
For me it would be this: 1. Boku no Shoudou 2. Sanbanme no Kaze 3. Omoide First 4. Mirai no Kotae 5. Tokitokimekimeki 6. Jibun janai kanji The first three are examples of stellar songwriting, but 4 to 6 make me press the skip button most of the time.
1. Jibun janai kanji (loved how this song sound. it reminds me of the sound and style from The Groove, one of my favorite band) 2. Boku no Shoudou (loved how my beloved Riria shows her fierce and cool side, plus the fast tempo music) 3. Sanbanme no Kaze (loved how my beloved Kubo lean her head on the mic stand, plus the mood booster effect) 4. Mirai no Kotae (thanks to Nogifes ) 5. Omoide First (don't remember at all) 6. Tokitokimekimeki (too idolish for me)
Mine 1. Boku no Shoudou 2. Sanbanme no Kaze 3. Tokitokimekimeki 4. Mirai no Kotae 5. Omoide First 6. Jibun janai kanji, I dont even remember the song.
Here's Mine 1. Sanbanme no Kaze (Momoko centre) 2. Jibun Janai Kanji (Yamashita Centre) 3. Boku no Shoudou(Ririan Centre) 4. Omoide First ( Momoko Centre) 5. Tokitokimekimeki (Renka Centre)
Same here. And I can't believe it's just on the last single. Let me refresh my memory. But I think I know why I've completely forgotten about it, though it's a 3rd gen song. I can only put Sanbanme on top and the rest bundled together. Except that last one I guess. That very first 3rd gen song made me a believer.
I could make mine as well: 1. Sanbanme no Kaze: my morning energy song, still on my playlist till now. 2. Boku no Shoudou: great cool song 3. Tokitokimekimeki: nice chill-out song 4. Omoide First 5. Mirai no Kotae 6. Jibun Janai Kanji

So far, it's just them? That's pretty interesting. Like the more the 1st Gen dwindles, the 3rd Gen have to step into their shoes.
But why is the 3rd gen listed as a separate artist ? Are the 3rd gens the only one performing their songs ?
Upon closer inspection, that seems to be the case, dince they are mentioned in the Artist section of the website. I first thought that every 3rd gen member would model, but only Umezawa, Momoko, Yoda and Kubo will.
