I'm happy that we're at least getting another AKB single. I'm very happy that Tomu is in. That's great! Though I'm kinda sad that Komi is not in it. And I hope that Megu gets in one day.

Not a big fan of Moeka. She's not someone I can get behind. Don't really trust her all that much.
I also feel that she's been overpushed. Center after 1 senbatsu appearance, solo concert, photobook. Then again, people say pushed all the time. But that's my perspective.

We'll see what they will deliver this time. Could be good.

    feels bad for zukkii :(

can't say how 'sustainable' it is long term to not be pushing many newer and/or more recently rising members

another single without seichan...what does she have to do..how much more does she have to do?! also kinda excited for the moeka center, she seems promising and is very cute, don't understand all the hate she's getting- it's a bit ridiculous.

But Saho wasn't there either, so are Satopi, Seichan, Zukki and Megu. As much as I want an all AKB single for AKB girls to have an opportunity to be included, that will not happen as they need some members of the sister group to generate sales.

Agreed. It's pretty disgusting that management really doesn't care about scandals.
The photos had nothing to be misunderstood, and she made up some stupid lies to cover it but looks like it doesn't matter. Compare it to the girls who stay proper for years and can't even touch senbatsu. I don't think Moeka is ultra cute either?? She just hasn't gone through the 'noob' phase in the beginning, looked + acted like a pro idol from the very start. :/

AKB has been more and more repulsive to me recently

The center isn't surprising to me, but I was still hoping management wouldn't let this scandal through

I'm pretty sure if they hadn't only used Acchan back in the beginning and had switched it up a bit more, I'm sure we would have seen more other girls as well. But they always do this. Yumiko has been the sole STU center up until now, Jurina has dominated SKE, Sayanee has dominated NMB (and it looks like they're now using Mirurun). Only HKT and NGT seem a bit wobbly for a fixed center.

If AKB had always switched centers up, I believe we would have seen these girls more often:
    • Takamina
    • Kojiharu
    • Mayuyu
    • Yukirin
    • Maimai
    • Yuko
    • Marikosama
    • Tomochin
    • Possibly even Sato Amina, Erepyon, Sae.
EDIT: I do think though that it was necessary in the early days to have a face to a group as big as AKB and I commend Acchan for carrying the weight of the group for so long.

Impossible unless they add more dates, in which case sister group member presence doesn't make a difference. Both of them are already shaking hands all day.

I'm liking this senbatsu and the formation! 19 members is good because I prefer little senbatsu, especially since I think AKB needs to create new stars in the group, and that only works if there aren't too many girls in the senbatsu. Although maybe 18 or 20 would be a nicer number LOL but 19 is good!

The first row looks great! Management made good choices. The 3 front girls are great HS sellers, and they have the most growth in popularity online too (increase of followers on social medias, most discussed etc.) and all 3 are AKB! Love it. Moeka as center would happen sooner or later, I thought it would be next single but I guess it's sooner LOL I'm interested to see what kind of song will be given to her! She has a nice voice so hopefully they make good use of it (I mean not using too much vocals effects, hopefully not a song like No Way Man etc.).

Yukirin on first row of course, and then Yuiri too! wow the Flying Get center on Tv was a sign ^^/ I love this! I love the 5 AKB girls being in front! I feel that it would look more balanced if Mirurun and Jurina got center of 2nd row, so the 2nd row could be longer than the 1st row, but it's ok.

I'm very happy that Chiho made it, in a good position too, she deserves it! She's pretty and cute and she's good at HS so it's great for AKB to have her in senbatsu!

I'm also satisfied with Rinrin's position. A bit surprised for Yuihan in 3rd row, but she has been busy lately so maybe this makes sense. Hopefully she's back to a better position in next singles.

A little sad for the exclusion of Satopii and Renacchi though... but I guess no senbatsu can make anyone 100% satisfied, so I'll just look at the good sides... I like most things about this senbatsu, the first row, the center etc. So it's good for me!

Now I just hope the song is good, please :cute:

Oh I quite agree with you. Though have mgmt ever cared that much? Seems more they let it quiet down for a bit than resume. Someone already mentioned this kinda, but the "scandal" was enough for the publisher to seemingly delay her photobook. And today as they revealed the senbatsu, the cover was also for that was revealed.
Agreed on the matter of proper girls. There are so many of them. The "scandal" of Moeka, is at least something that taints her a bit. There are those who haven't and get nothing in return for. And there are those who have, of course. That's a story that we all know and have thoughts on.
I also don't think she's cute at all. But things like that are always in the eye of the beholder.

People that stand in the limelight will always have haters. I personally believe Moeka if she says the guy is just a friend and I find it ridiculous that girls seemingly are not allowed to have male friends. The male to female ratio in my own group of friends is pretty equal (I think there's slightly more guys) and I'm equally close and intimate with both male and female friends, meaning I will hug my male friends just as much as my female friends. I don't consider that a scandal.

Many people believe she's part of the (and take my wording here with a grain of salt) "evil" group of NGT girls. When she was announced as a model for some brand a little while ago (can't remember but I believe it was some sort of makeup or skincare), the brand got a lot of backlash and felt forced to remove her as a model. She's friendly with the girls that are believed to have been involved in the attack on Mahohon.

Regardless of whether Ogiyuka was involved or not, I think the scale of the NGT scandal is completely different to that of Moeka's scandal :^^;: Dating scandals haven't ruined an entire group's reputation, or even an individual girl's reputation too much in a long time.
