We officially have a Nogi mama!
Hatanaka gave birth to her first child on 3rd June this year. Congrats Seitan!

According to the news, she got hospitalized because of an ovarian cyst. Cmiiw, it is some kind of early stage of the tumor (?). Now, after it was removed, she said she is in good condition.

It is just a bunch of fluid actually, and most of the time harmless. But a doctor can choose to remove it when there is a chance that it becomes cancarous, or when someone becomes sick because of it, since there is a chance it is ruptured which can cause all kinds of nasty bleedings.

I'm glad she is alright.

 

Glad she gave birth without issues before the cyst came in. Or does ovarian cyst appear post-birth usually?

Hatanaka bought the 25th Single! She gives a listen to Maiyan's song. That's as much as I understood!

I wonder what she thinks as she looks over the disc as sees so many unfamiliar faces. She looked over the kojin PV on the disc and I can't imagine her knowing who these 4th Gen members are. I'm surprised she knew Yoda-chan. Does she say what she feels? Please, translators, a little help?

 

They don't show her watching the kojin PV, just the MV's of Shiawase no Hogoshoku and Jaa Ne. She's obviously moved by them and she talks about how beautiful Maiyan is and that she's essentially the face of the group as she's the most well known. Everyone thinks of Maiyan first when Nogizaka is mentioned.

Then she tells a bit of her own time in the group. She generally had a great time and the group felt like a family to her. She's grateful for all the chances she had and where she is now because of it.

She still follows the group, so I don't think there are many unfamiliar faces for her.

I didn't know Seitan had a belly button piercing. There was a recent Instagram story showing her belly, and thought she had a belly button piercing hole...

...then I google searched "畠中清羅 へそ" (へそ = navel/belly button in Japanese) and realized that Seitan actually had a belly button piercing. And she first showed it off during her early days on SNS, back in 2015 (after she graduated from Nogizaka46)...

She hasn't been wearing her belly button piercing for the past year or two though, especially when she's married and is a mom.

I'm surprised a bit, but I thought Shida Manaka (ex-Keyakizaka46) was the first ex-Sakamichi to have a belly button piercing. She is the first among ex-Keyaki, but I was almost four years overdue that Seitan actually had a belly button piercing...

Looks like my hacking theory was correct. Her original Instagram account (@seira_hatanaka) is back online! Not sure what she's going to do with her @seira.hatanaka_official 'sub account' as of now...
