I'm sorry but can someone explain what's going on with Naatan and Maika?

 

I've seen some mention of this on Japanese social media during the day but I can't make any sense of it. It seems to relate to a tweet sent out late last night (8/13) by Naatan which has now been deleted. A couple of hours ago Sasshi had a late night SHOWROOM which lasted for about 37 minutes. Her mood was good to begin with but later on she became rather quieter and pensive while reading comments. I'm pretty sure she mentioned the two girls' names at least a couple of times, she certainly says 'Maika-chan' at 24:49, so maybe there are some clues here? (credit to uploader)

EDIT: I've just seen this Tweet by Sasshi sent at 01:17 JST tonight which would have been after her SR:

Neither Google nor DeepL is giving me good translations but it looks like she said that she can't find words to express her feelings and she will protect them and the other members from slanderous words.

 

Apparently there was a tweet / account discovered owned by " Maika" which involves bad-mouthing Naatan.

Maika opened a SR to deny the account was hers, apologized while crying when she thought that she was suspected because her attitude at that time was not good

Naatan angrily counter-tweeted regarding this SR.

Tweets were removed but a trace showed ....

At this point, Sasshi is about to / had step in and based on Sasshi's comment at 28:08, Naatan is also self refecting on her actions. Sasshi had also a long talk with Maika.

I agree @ 32:33 where Sasshi mentioned communication is important.

Like she said, it's nobody's fault.
To me it's more like a form of mis-comm, happens all the time in my office ....

 

Maika also went on SHOWROOM, which is apparently what set all of this off, but my Japanese is way too bad to make sense of it. I tried reading the Youtube comments with Google Translate, but it didn't make much more sense to me either

My understanding of the situation... and this may be totally wrong... is that there was an account (?) tweeting badly about Nagisa and it was owned by Maika? I think Maika said in her SHOWROOM that this story isn't true. This situation has been going on for 3 years, that's when the members and management (including Sasshi) became aware of it. After that, as you guys have pointed out, Naatan made a tweet saying "I feel like crying" or something along those lines?

What confuses me, if they've been aware for three years, does this mean that Naatan thought the whole time that Maika was actually badmouthing her on this private (not so private) account? What is their relationship like?

I also understood that Sasshi said she believes Maika, that it wasn't her account. Is Naatan considered the bad guy here because she burst out on social media by making that tweet? I feel like I'm getting nowhere closer to understanding...

 

Wow this is troublesome I hope they can clear this. How sad would this, if some outsider could break their team strength
(feels like Tsubaki Factory Risa Scandal all over again...)
