I'm very sad to hear the news. This is turning out to be a bad year for my STU oshis, my oshimen Marina left a few months ago and now it's the turn of Cuca who is currently my second-favourite member behind Chiho. I can't say I'm very surprised at the news, she didn't make senbatsu for the current single and other than her food videos on YouTube (which I hope she continues in the future) I haven't seen very much of her over the past year. Hopefully she'll have a good final event with the group.

I suppose the anouncement of the ASH recruitment didn't help either. (more and strong rivalries on the way)

I'm so sad, she was so eager to become an idol, and she has a great potential.

 

Sad to see this but it was inevitably coming, management fucked with her mental health and it led to an eating disorder, all she wanted to do is be an idol and from the looks of this message, she didn't get what she expected it to be either in the end, very sad to see

Been following Cuca since her early YouTube days and Hello Project auditions and I as well as many others always rooted for her to make it. All she ever wanted to be since she was a kid was to be an idol and even though she did eventually join an idol group I felt like she never really got to experience what its like to be an idol. Her graduation message kind of sums that up, its pretty heartbreaking her long journey is ending like this. Hope that whatever she chooses to do in the future truly makes her happy

 

I hope she stays an idol, maybe joining a more local group that can give her more attention than STU ever did. If not, at the very least I hope she stays on youtube. Her dance covers were always so fun and since she won't be associated with a group anymore I suppose she'll be free to cover whatever songs she feels like again. If she wants to take a break from all the drama and just live a normal life again, I'd understand, it seems like life in the public eye has been difficult for her.

I don't know if I'll keep following 48G after this, she's the only one who I've been sticking around for, but there are a few other STU members I've developed an affection for... Kudo Riko, Shinano Soraha, Shimizu Sara (all backgirls, unfortunately for me).

Aw, and I just love how straightforward with her life stories. I so hope she keeps the channel, even though I new her since she was a little girl dancing on youtube, it's really her personnality shown on her videos that drew me to liking her.

I'm so sad to see her go but happy we got to see her as an idol after all. And despite being underutilized by the management, she's got it better than a lot of other backgirls. She was in 3 of the major units, got her own youtube channel etc. Wish we got more of her in MVs but I guess that's just how the cookie crumbles.
Hopefully, now she's a free agent, she'll be able to make more dance covers again, if that's what she wants.
