If you think about it, just the fact that we can listen to equivalent of a frickin full solo concert of each girl is a real blessing in disguise. Like, I'd die happily if Manaka does something like that too That said, can somebody tell me what's up about Chisato that makes her get that high ranking. Personally IMO, Although she's slightly above average technically, i find her singing mostly bland. It's like effortless but in a bad way to my ears. Then there's Runa which is one of the worst singer before all this, but she managed to like triples her performance level over these performances. At the last few days especially you can tell that she learned to enjoy the performance and own the stage. And it shows in the battles which she won most of it in the last half. She's surprisingly one of if not the the most fun to watch because of her growth.
Well.. despite the apparences, this 1st leg was more a popularity contest than a singing one. Be it a real singing competition, Airi would have been a strong contender for 1st spot. Hopefully the 2nd leg is more skill / technique based. And it shouldn't be 1 judge choosing for everyone. (Still choked that Miitan was rejected in S1)
