Yeah, and this is after that incident got out so that made me thinking.
But why they cut Tamami streak? :gavel:
I'm rooting for her next Senbatsu push :D

That's not unexpected. But Matsumura was still performing right after her scandal, so by right Minami should be able too...

I’m rooting for Renochan to make Senbatsu. Nothing against Denchan but I would’ve been stoked if Renochan subbed in for Minamichan tonight.

I'm also good with that. I just think it's better she center Under first. But of course I'm not gonna say No to that :approve:

Yup, these 3 have been the choice to sub this past couple of single but Tamami has been doing it since 26th. Iirc it's her, Chima and Miria during that single. Time to reward her hard work all year long. She's not the member nobody sees anymore :D
But yeah, so far Mukai isn't getting any. At least Reno got a unit.

    Oricon catch-up

    Day 4 (9/25): 21,481 (513,403)
    Day 5 (9/26): 13,017 (526,420)
    Day 6 (9/27): 9,367 (535,787)

Confirmed first week #1, reporting '536k' but that's rounded up from expected actual number that is slightly less than 536k (don't expect significant post-six-day count adjustment moves, maybe little at best).

Around 53K less than previous single, that's disappointing. I pity Kaki, it's her first center position, but not only sales has been difficult but also scandal released on the same day.

I don't understand why the sales dropped so hard in this single. This made me think that in next single management definitely put asuka or ikuta as the center to secure the sales ( which I have no complaints about that[hehe], it has been a long time since I see asuka or ikuta as the center).

In my opinion, management has done a good job to try to push new center (since Zukki, Sakura & now kakki). But so far I feel like only zukki has been successful (whether as nogi center or public recognition). For Sakura chan, she is loved by Japanese fan but she still has low public recognition (despite of being pushed so hard from management, but her public recognition is still low). As for kakki, i still wait for the result but I expect that it would still be the same as Saku case (got recognized by nogi fan, but low public recognition).

    What scandal?

The main song's MV is boring imo. The song could've been saved if the MV isn't as boring. Machine Gun Rain is my fav.

I think the 28th single sales drop can be explained pretty easily. They lost 4 members (Momoko, Miria, Junna, Ranze) that sold out 95 meguri slots on the 27th single. Looking at the sell outs for the 28th, the newer members haven't been growing their support fast enough to make up for the continuous graduations.

comparison for first weekly sales from previous single,
    18th 880,018
    19th 850,824 (-29,104)
    20th 1,116,852 (+266,028)
    21st 988,671 (-128,181)
    22nd 1,062,615 (+73,944)
    23rd 1,004,259 (-58,356)
    24th 964,523 (-39,736)
    25th 995,683 (+31,160)
    26th 589,338 (-406,345)
    27th 589,751 (+413)

note: for idol group like nogizaka, to reach million sales its heavily depends on handshake, and from what i see meguri is still not as profitable as handshake. That's why so much drop in 26th single.

if 28th is about 535k, maybe about -53k or -54k drop from previous single.

before this, i hoped 28th will goes well than previous single, but the reality is different. There always up and down sales if you look from previous single, so for now i just want to see how much next single will be.
