    To be honest, when she graduated from AKB she was trying for a solo career, but as many an ex-AKB member found out that even with the celebrity status you have as well known AKB member, making it as a solo singer is hard.
    In the mean time she got married, and released a cooking book, she still appears on TV and radio regularly.
    Not hearing much about new music coming out, but she did express interest in No3b's 15th anniversary at Miichan's gradcon, but that (most likely) depends on the availability of Nyan-nyan, who is pretty busy with Her Lip To
    (nyan-nyan did thoroughly enjoy performing at Miichan's gradcon though)
    She recently moved/reopened the Cheeky Eyes fanclub on fanicon

    She posted a pic to celebrate her anniversary ... and looked positively happy, guess she has a good home live with hubby and cat :)

    Takamina and Kitarie cooking together! These two are close. I like to see graduated members still being friends with each other :3 They talked about different things like their married life etc. and at the end they also talked about their career and how long it's been since their graduations, Takamina was surprised to realize that she graduated 6 years ago lol time flies!

    She had (has) a very unique voice. Her voice is clearly heard in a lot of (early/iconic) AKB songs. Too bad that once she went solo after graduation nobody could write songs that were fit for her voice.

    I remember an episode of AKBingo where they wound up making fun of Takamina's real-life burriko. The "oira cola" stuff. Kitahara made fun of the "nyani-nyani" stuff, too. You could tell that they all loved her, even the Bad Boys. Good episode.
