Oh that's a good idea! I was thinking about when Team E will have their new stage, I thought it will take maybe 3-4 other months... and now this confirms that it's happening soon! I'm so excited for it, Team E is the team that has the most members that I like, though I recently became a big fan of Team KII thanks to their stage so now I have 2 fav teams in SKE (tbh I love Team S too XD) so I'm really looking forward to Team E's stage! I'll remember to check the videos on Twitter every week The first video was about picking a hashtag for the project ^^

More than 400k "Zettai inspiration" CDs have been shiped, which is SKE48's highest sales since Corona outbreak and the 1st time they reach such level of sales since the release of "FRUSTRATiON" (2,5 years ago).

This relatively quick return to sucess despite the graduation of some popular members (Jurina, Dassu, Nao) is considered to be a consequence of the new projects launched last year. Mainly the 2 original stages for Team S and KII.
the production costs for the Team S show were recovered in about 6 months, and it's said that the expenses for the Team KII one are going to be, faster than expected.
Zest producing everythin internally might be a reason.

Moreover the production for the Team E original stage has allready begun and it should premiere within the year.

Also news at that link of a SHOWROOM audition for the 9th, 10th and 11th Gen for a remake of the 'Pareo wa Emerald' MV with the 9 highest ranked members. The MV will be included with the 31st single (still TBA).

 

Good news for the summer tour!!

and I also like the idea of doing a "Pareo wa Emerald" remake. it's probably their most popular song after all... They did a remake of "Aozora Kataomoi" back in 2021 with Ruuchan center (here) and it was nice. I think doing a remake every 2-3 years is not a bad idea, after all, the group still performs all these old songs regularly, so it's nice to have their own versions, with their own MV and outfits etc. Of course, it's also important to focus on creating new songs for the group, which SKE is already doing very well with the new original stages (that are great) and with very good songs in their singles (and b-sides MVs!) so considering all of this, I think it's ok for them to do remakes every now and then.

I went to count and for the 9th-11th gens, there are 26 members in total who can participate to this! They are: Aoumi Hinano, Akahori Kimie, Arano Himeka, Ikeda Kaede, Iriuchijima Sayaka, Okamoto Ayaka, Kawashima Miharu, Suzuki Ena, Suzuki Kokona, Takeuchi Nanami, Nakasaka Miyu, Hirano Momona, Fujimoto Fuyuka, Aoki Rika, Ito Miki, Kito Mikuru, Sawada Kanon, Sugiyama Anan, Nishii Mio, Hayashi Mirei, Omura Anzu, Shinohara Kyoka, Sugimoto Riina, Hara Yune, Morimoto Kurumi, Yamamura Sakura

I think it's worth it for all of them to try and participate. in the end, 9 of them will make it, which is around 1/3 of these girls. Personally I would love to see Ito Miki win the center I really like her, she's pretty and she's such a great performer, I'm sure she would do perfect as the center of this remake. and I really want her to have a center song in a b-side...

New single?

 

I think it's most likely an announcement for the new single I don't see what else they could be announcing, they already announced a new tour yesterday, a new SR contest... I don't know what else it could be... and it's been 6 months since the release of 'Zettai Inspiration' in October (and the single was announced in July), it's about time for a new single please

I'm not sure who I would want as center this time... I want them to continue the push for Mirei as ace so maybe they could make her center again, or maybe a new center would be nice too... Maybe Ouchan, or Egochan... hmmm. I also wonder who will join senbatsu for the first time, I was thinking of maybe Aaya since she got to be in a magazine with Mirei recently and she was picked for the CDTV performance too! or maybe a 11th gen, it would probably be either Yune (the most popular), or maybe they'll go with one of the better dancers (like Anzu?).

Anyway I really hope this is the announcement of a new single
