I saw the same thread from the NMB48 forum but didn't see an equivalent here. I decided to put the first 9 singles due to the limited slots for options. If you think a newer single or a non-single song represents the spirit of SKE48 the most, feel free to vote for "others (specify in the comments).

So what is an "SKE48" song? What type of song that when you hear it, you feel that it'll fit SKE?

Personally, my favorite among the cheerful, jumpy songs is Pareo wa BUT, I feel like SKE48 pretty much gives the "Banzai Venus" vibe. I would love it though if Tsuyokimono yo becomes a staple in SKE events, or is it already?

Well I mean, Pareo is probably the song that most identify with SKE, but I honestly don't think another group would be able to pull off a song like Escape the way SKE does.

Hard choice. Definitive for me would either be Oki Doki, Aozora Kataomoi or Tsuyukimono yo, but they release more songs of the type of Oki Doki, and that's the best one at that, so I voted for that.

In terms of singles I'd say Oki Doki > Pareo > Katafai represents them "best"

I say Banzai Venus. That song and dance is too energetic and it always gives me an awe when they perform it.
Pareo is a good choice too, but whenever I hear that song, it reminds me more of NMB's version in Kouhaku.

I think you are missing Gomenne Summer in the vote. Lol.

I think that Escape is one of the most ske-like songs. A cool dancey upbeat song. I doubt others can pull it off like ske did.

Oh darn!!! How did I miss that?? Sorry, hehe. To think I personally consider that song as one of the more identifiable SKE song.. Oh well.

oki doki just seems like a classical-ske48, style. i would also choose pareo wa emerald, banzai venus and kataomoi finally. in terms of stages, i think glory days and finland miracle are very ske48-like songs.

This question was more a little difficult to answer then I thought. I'd have to say Kataomoi Finally and Pareo wa Emerald for me.

Speaking of which, 12-gatsu no Kangaroo also has a very ske-like feel to it, which is not very noticable in the recent singles (Mirai to Wa and Bukiyou Taiyou). Though I am not saying that the recent singles were bad (they were actually good, but they were substantially different than the previous upbeat songs).

12-gatsu no Kangaroo actually feels a lot like oki doki or banzai venus. Like those cheery childish songs that make you immediately want to stand up from your seat and do a tap dance. LOL. Overall a very energetic song, which I believe is the charm point of ske.
