Based on the bonus and the 7/11 campaign that was held not long ago, I'm expecting 14th senbatsu sans MaiMai and Ikuchan center

Same. It's time for another Ikuchan center. Please. <3

I am really intrigued as to the senbatsu size, without MaiMai.
Nandome was 16, Inochi was 18, Taiyou Knock was 18, Ima was 16, and Harujion was 17. They're hovering around the 16 to 18 mark, but I'd prefer 18 just so they could add another 2nd gen (Kiichan, she is so ready for a single spot again) and another 1st gen (Himetan, get the hint already! ¬¬).

Also looking at their other July singles - Girl's Rule, Natsu no Free and Easy, and Taiyou Knock, or even going back to Hashire Bicycle which was August - they are all intrinsically happy, positive, bright sounds (didn't describe that well but hopefully you get the meaning). So I'd expect something similar here. :)

If they go typical they could get Girls Rule v2 and Nandome v2 by making Maiyan and Ikuchan centres that way, which seems more intuitive than the reverse, but I would rather see them do something new. I'd like to see an Ikuchan-focused take on the summer theme.

Although Ikuta is my kami-oshi, I'm rooting for a Misa center. She's the perfect summer girl. Misa-senpai!

I guess they will stick to 17. Nogi have 35 members now, so i with 17 there are more UG than senbatsu.

As for the center... is a summer single, so I don't think Ikuchan is a great choice. I'd say Maiyan is the best idea.

17 seems likely, as it's (virtually) half the members (without the incoming third gen). In that case... I'm easy, Himetan or Kiichan pls. Both should get a place in my eyes. =)

While I would love to see Ikuchan center again, looking at the singles she is most prevalent/was center in, it seems more like the spring/winter songs as opposed to the summer ones. I would like to see her take on the summer style, but as has been mentioned, not sure how that would go.
In which case... Maiyan. Or go wild, someone new.

I want Himetan will be the center. That will create super drama :^O^:. Himetan's sales is not bad and her image really fits with summer theme. Senbatsu members maybe not oppose it and Himetan can compare to her sister in Babymetal group if she is the center. That will create hype waves and media attractions.
    My second choice: Shiraishi :^^;:.

I will kill myself, If Miona becomes center. I hope they will change senbatsu a little bit. It's currently way too stable. I fear it will be the same.Even if it's unlikely, Still hoping for single center :
    • MisaMisa
    • Maiyan
    • Ikuchan
    • Or surprise Himetan
    • No Nanase or Ikoma (no hate, just bored)

Would like to see these Senbatsu changes:
    • Rotti,Kiichan,Kanarin in senbatsu
    • Reika closer to front
    • Sayurin closer to front
    • Take a break from Sayunyan and Marika

I personaly want that Maiyan get finally her solo center and Sayurin back to Juu Fukujin. I don't know that much about Nogi but a new member/center would be great. Let's promote the remaining 2nd gen xD

don't mind if they put Naachan as center. As long as they get good song, and no more tears. I just don't want gloomy song or gloomy PV for summer single. Taiyou Knock have teary PV, and that was so meh :fp:. 3 consecutive times they make super melancholic story driven PV. Please give me smile...

    hoping for Ranze UG center

As always, I'll just hope Maiyan returns to center and Misa gets a good position.

I wouldn't mind Himetan getting a shot too but I do worry about the media/fans jumping on comparisons between her sister. It's inevitable but being center is stressful enough without having that to deal with as well though I'm confident she'd rise to the occasion regardless.
