I said "superficial" and "makes it look as though". Some newer fans of the groups still think that AKB has about a million fans, and they will also assume that SKE has beaten NMB even though they had a lot of graduations. Only when you put those numbers in context, is it obvious how meaningless this is.

I'm also guessing that most mentions of this will not go into specifics about music cards but just mention that two 48 groups went head-to-head and that SKE won. It's a marketing strategy to push a brand (SKE48) that's not doing too well, all things considered. The one question that remains is why NMB agreed to this. It's not doing them any favors.

 

SKE fans pushed so hard. Sort of worry about SSK.

 

Stop ya whining and petty fighting, just wait for the Soundscan numbers if you all be this pressed.

The only person winning in all of this is laughing all the way to the bank.

Music Card is a card to download songs, it's counted towards Oricon (for some reason) until next monday. SKE gave one away with every theatre edition, so 1 theatre edition is counted as 2 sales in Oricon.

 

Ohh so its a card that allow to download the song into your mobile phone?

From my calculations I don't think NMB has shipped their 9-11th round HS/2shots and the additional 2 days of HS/2shots yet. If so, expecting them within the next few days up till Friday, which should boost them up a lot (but still not enough for SKE of course).

SKE should have small boost this week too, which will still be decent one if it's done before Monday.

Every theater edition sale for this single comes with a music card, thus counting as 2 sales within Oricon. The music card itself comes with a code to download the music (1 song afaik). There are pics of the girls on it, so you can collect them just like regular pics.

Soundcheck shows sales per edition but not theater sales. You can get a good aproximation by substracting the normal editions from the oricon numbers though. Theater sales usually account for 70%+ of the overall sales, then it's version S (or A, or N, or H for the other groups) and then it cascades down.

I love all the PVs except dirty. Dirty was kinda cheap pv. CJC is a very catchy and it'll make you dance when you listen to it, pv is also very fun and it looks like the members enjoyed it while shooting. Kaotan's break dance was epic in CJC pv.

 

Congrats SKE on a strong 1st day sale. A long way to go still and anything can happen. There's no pleasing the fans. Had NMB's number been stronger than SKE, the fans would go like " Effin hell! Even with music card trick SKE can't beat NMB??" etc. etc. Stop complaining and just enjoy the music! Geez..
