@pollypan May I please ask you how much you had to pay to US Customs on that lot? I'm currently having problems just getting a couple of DVDs through UK Customs so goodness only knows how much hassle you must have had.

 

I highly recommend Amazon if you buy multiple or spend more than the relief, because you prepay tax. Fail that, buy singles separately. I cost up both methods and go for the cheapest. Much better than a service charge + tax. Hope this helps in future.

Got these today. All 5 votes are for Yui. This is my first time actually buying CDs and pulling photos from them, and I'm so happy that I got a Yui photo!

Can't believe they arrived on time for me to vote! Glad I payed that extra 4000 yen to get it to NZ in a week. Hopefully at least one of my wishes comes true this year which will both be hard - Sakura for Kami-7 and Takamina for 1st.

 

The release date for the AKB48 spring concert DVD & Bluray seems to be July 29th, which is the date when I'll be leaving Japan. Would it be too risky of a gamble, if I ordered the Bluray through the 48 Group Shopping to my hotel? It would probably depend on the shipping time and the moment when they'd ship it... If the box set would also be available in stores before the release date (singles might be available before the actual date, but how about DVDs etc.?), I could grab it there. The reason I'd like to get it while in Japan are the import taxes I'd have to pay when ordering from home.

 

Is this another exclusive for the AKBshop?

You won´t get it a day early, better try to roam the shops the evening before or really early on releaseday.
That´s how I got the BD Set of Zenkoku Tour 2014 when I was in Japan this march, at a pictureshop in a backstreet next to UDX across AKB cafe.
