Stage48 Countdown: Episode 237 (Members who are too pure for this world)

hm, this is hard, since 48 family isn't well known for their singing ability..

but if i have to choose based on the performance i've seen before (and just based on what i can remember right now, i might missed a lot of nice singer in this list)..

1. Masuda Yuka - that 1 performance when she sang that song by Dream Comes True in akbingo really blew my mind, never thought i can heard a really decent vocal performance from an AKB member lol
2. Iwasa Misaki - obviously everyone already know what this girl capability, even though i don't like enka but i can really say that she's good
3. Kashiwagi Yuki - stable, even though she doesn't have much power behind her voice, but i think i rarely see her sing off pitch in her live performance/concert.
4. Watanabe Mayu - she's my akb48 oshimen that's why she ranked this high lol, well, i like her voice, i think her vocal really improved a lot compared to 3-4 years ago
5. Yamamoto Sayaka - that jungle gym solo live performance request hour \m/
6. Kojima Haruna - i really like her singing voice tone
7. Akimoto Sayaka
8. Furukawa Airi - her voice really surprised me lol, somehow her voice reminds me to Akimoto Sayaka
9. Oomori Miyu

if i can include Nogizaka46 member in this list, i would put Ikuta Erika and Kawamura Mahiro (that MISIA cover 'Everything' even though so short but still, so good) at 3rd and 4th place respectively

1. Watanabe Mayu- I guess I'm a little biased lol but I honestly really love her voice. Clear, crisp and beautiful. She has really grown in her singing abilities, just listen to any of the songs in her new single! (I especially love Magirashiteiru). Her growth as a singer is really amazing: from a squeaky but cute CG idol to an mature, adult like voice.
2. Yamamoto Sayaka- Duh. This girl can do anything and everything well. I really love Hitoiki Tsukinagara from her. Her voice has a beautiful husky tone and just...yum xD
3. Iwasa Misaki- Another, well DUH this girl is on my list. She can sing so well. I'm not too big of an enka fan but I like her renditions of 48 songs.
4. Akimoto Sayaka- Raw power and emotion. This woman. Mushi no Ballad is the greatest. Although she wasn't always too stable, her powerful voice made up for any shakiness.
5. Takahashi Minami- SO MUCH POTENTIAL. Too bad she couldn't do much vocal training but now that she's graduating to focus on her solo career, I'm expecting great things! Her voice is just so unique and rich. With a little more technique and training, she'll go a long way.
6. Kashiwagi Yuki- Her voice is almost always on point and very pleasant to listen to. Her AKB covers in her lives are so pretty!
7. Takeuchi Mai- Underrated SKE member alert! Her dream is to be an anime singer, and boy will she be good at it! Her voice is very pleasant to listen to as well and she has good control. Watch the first episode(s) of Zero Position (I think) and AKBShow episode 76 (the end song) to get a taste. (They are subbed as well!)
8. Kasai Tomomi- Sugary sweet goodness. Although her voice ay be "too high" for some people, Tomo~mi doesn't let that get in the way of singing really really well. Her singles are like candy. Another guilty pleasure.
9. Okada Nana- SOOOOOoooo MUCH POTENTIAL HERE. My new gen oshimen as well. Her rendition of Mushi is second to only the original goddess herself. Her voice a bit like Sayanee as well, I hope for more solos from her (please)
10. Maeda Atsuko- I just really like her voice. Her live singing can be really bad/shaky but her voice...just something about it makes me love it nonetheless lol

What is it you ask. Well It begins on August 2nd and with the 2nd Season (1 year anniversary) and it will be where vote on two topics and the one who wins will be that topic for the day I mention. Like the one August 2nd will be for the September 6th episode which is the Season Premiere.

Now the loser of the battle will remain as that topic will will have a strike against them and if they lose two more times. They are gone for the rest of this season. It's a 3 strike method, 3 strikes and you are out.

Masuda is the best singer as voted on by you guys. I agree with that because I think she is one hell of a singer as well. As is Wasamin, it was no wonder it was a two horse race between Masuda and Wasamin. Sayanee was a distant 3rd. I see some of you were letting people know about Reiko and it worked. She ranked in the 8th spot so congrats to you guys.

Before we began, would like to mention that the new Battle Arena thing will be for when you vote on that weeks topic. You mention which topic you would like to see. It's something I will be doing from now on as I want you guys to have more of a voice in the topics around here.
