Only thing I know is I'll be there to see what they can do live in Berlin in a month... honestly can't wait. I'm into AC/DC (saw them Live again earlier this month), Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden or Metallica and I can honestly say BM have a refreshing sounding music and I like it. Much better to listen and look at them than so called proper metal bands with hairy dudes, gory make up, gory SFX etc....
Interest quest at what sing them begin? Most likely Megitsune or that We are BabyMetal? Or something surpise? Or what you're wanna?
Hi all, Anyone knows is "Over the Future" is part of the set for the European tour ? I know it's not a Babymetal song, but I like their cover.
I doubt it. They've only played it once. And they don't really perform non-BABYMETAL songs outside of Japan. They're more likely to play their new songs than something nostalgic like that.
ah well.... it was wishful thinking anyway. Maybe a new song then, Berlin is the last standalone concert date in Europe before 2 festivals.
Playlist starts at "Megitsune" or that "we are Babymetal". These are... Or can there be new song at begin?
They usually start with babymetal death, at least on the world tour. They did start with Megitsune at Budokan though. It could be either, we won't know until they start the gig.
They opened their German shows with Megitsune this year too. But those were festivals. They'll go with BABYMETAL DEATH in Berlin.
Babymetal Death is more a hype song than a real song, like how Metallica use Ecstasy of Gold as they enter the stage. So it makes sense not to open with it at festivals where they only have a short set, they need to get into their big songs straight away. At their own shows, as they play their entire set they can start with BMD and hype the crowd before playing everything. Its an awesome opener anyway.
management orientation about Babymetal is a good one IMO. They sensed a foreign hype on the group and started a "world tour" right away to shape the trend, but they know the core need to be helped ( japanese fan) and followed up a japan wide tour rather than mutiplying abroad dates. Chigau looks cool, awawa fever, i need the studio version to be sure.... I prefer much more songs like Akatsuki, No rain no rainbow, akumu no rinbokyoku kind of songs rather than doki doki morning/4 song uta.
"Wall of Death" limited series Tshirt received from Japan.... this concert in Berlin starts to shape up nicely. All I need now is some fake Babymetal money...
Marty Frieadman loves Babymetal because is polarizing. Polarizing? pardon? Babymetalnewswire .com found... ( Not know yet that Marty likes breaking Metal musics rules... Only that it can play guitar. )
@AloNeko Yes they are. Exhibit A : your endless commenting / bmw they are "not Metal" Also most people either love them or hate them, can't be more polarizing than that and that's what he said. His guitarist is in the kami band. He also says he understand people not considering it's metal because they are breaking the established rules but he loves them and their band.
I have no artistic skills whatsoever and not sure if I'll have time to find an existing template and go to the print shop.... Found a few good ones on reddit, so one month to go, gives me a little bit of time to make up my mind.
