im glad acchan came back to be cast as one of the centers in kimi wa melody. however, i do believe that since she has passed the baton, she should only come back on anniversaries of close friend's graduation, not that i dislike her or anything. acchan fighting on solo career and act in more great dramas and co-star with hot guys

Now, I certainly haven't seen every movie and/or TV show that Maeda has ever starred in, but it seems she is never cast opposite a particularly good-looking male actor. They always seem to be a little goofy-looking or strange looking or be way too old for her. This is one of the most beautiful women in Japan (my humble opinion) and her leading men rarely, if ever, measure up, except, maybe, in that cute show where she played a robot. It just strikes me as a little odd. I could be wrong. Just an observation.

 

@richard durbano Um... everyone has a different opinion about attractiveness. All of the actors who starred alongside Maeda were high profile models and actors that were specifically chosen for their looks. Not everyone will have the same tastes, but majority of the Japanese population consider the male leads in films like Kabukicho Love Hotel or Initiation Love Story to be some of the hottest Japanese actors of all time.

 

Wow. That really surprises me, but i guess it shouldn't. As an American, I couldn't give you the name of so much as one Japanese dramatic actor. Not one. The only ones I even recognize are actors who I've seen in other productions that feature other AKB members.

 

Most of the actors (high profile, or not) that the Japanese population in general consider as hot or good-looking are strange-looking, at least to me. You could say that about any actor in any place, actually. I say that the Korean actors are strange-looking too, but because they are too dolled up too perfect, so I prefer the Japanese ones, just because they don't look as much dolly/mannequin-ish.

 

In case you didn't see the edits in my previous post but Acchan has a new instagram again! atsuko_maeda_official is the new account so go follow her if you want!

Acchan has tweeted and blogged (on her FC blog) regarding the Josei Seven article that claimed when Acchan went to watch a stage play that she had worn a cap which the staff had told her was against etiquette or something so she gotten up in the middle of the show and went outside to remove the cap and went back in to continue watching the play and that she didn't follow stage play etiquette or rules or whatever. Feeling like I brought everyone who was involved in the stage play trouble
Is what makes me the saddest.

To me, who loves to watch movies and stage plays,
It is the most precious time
In the future I want to see more.

I also love standing on the stage as a performer.

I don't want the place I love the most to be taken away from me..

It is the first time I wrote about such things.
I don't want to write about such things again.
