Well yeah, she definitely doesn't want to lose to Haruppi, but thats pretty much japan for you, they are rivals in the japanese way, they like, respect and support each other, but they are competing for being better than the other wants to lose, thats how people seeks personal growth in Japan, if they didnt like each other they wouldn't be rivals, since you need to respect someone to see him/her as someone you want to compete against in order to grow.

 

So much for all the Imamura hype back during the draft. All hail Hana and Vivian!

 

Bibian song fit her! Scout is a role that is p-e-r-f-e-c-t for her !

 

The fact that maria isnt even in the undergirls is surprising

WHATTTTT I love this single, except...the A-side LOL
"HKT-jou, Ima, Ugoku" sounds amazing tbh. It hypes me up. It reminds me of some old anime opening songs~ A-side material, suits HKT so much (but not Haruppi as center, her image is more mature now haha).

 

I love Taboo no Iro and I like Einstein.
Overall, a solid single release.

I love how they used drones to get all of those wide shots! Gives a certain depth to the PV I think.

 

I really like the PV. Very clean and cheerful. Not overdone. Good shots for everyone. I especially like the diversity of the crowd, with couples and children.

 

I think we saw more shots of the crowd doing the dance than our girls... Overall, wayyyyyy too many shots of the crowd. I liked the parts where they brought couples up on the stage, and the children drawing on the side of the stage. Other than that, honestly some extras got as much screen time as some members in the song - and this is the full pv. Not cool IMO. And I really wish it had included a portion of the actual dance formation because I like the choreo. Nice closing shot on Haruppi though, and Maichan looked super cute in her shots.

Its great that "fresh and energetic" team character really shown up in the choreo again.

 

So I finally got around to watching the short PVs.

I still love the a-side. It's very cute and cheery. The outfits and the general atmosphere of the MV really help make me happy about it, too. I do wish I'd been able to see my girls instead of random extras, though.

Taboo no iro. Is. Amazing. I've listened to the short clip like ten times on loop. The PV is beautiful, really stunning, but wow. Sakura and Haruppi are amazing. The song is amazing. I'm still fangirling.

Biitan's center song is nice, and I love watching the PV, but it doesn't jump out at me really. And I'm really, really upset that I don't like the Einstein song. It's okay, but I wished I loved it. I was super excited for this unit! I'm still glad that the momentary panic over Meru being pushed back seems to have subsided with her positions in the single, though.
