I've just come across the following news article dated today which has Annin's name in the headline and seems to be about her winning the FLASH Special Gravure award, but is this really her in the photo?

EDIT: I've just noticed that @skydrive27 has posted similar photos in the gallery thread, so yes it is her.

 

I guess you're right. Everyone does have their own preference. I just don't think being pretty and sitting there would help her. There are tons of beautiful girls inside and outside the AKB group that can talk really well they can invite. During this situation it made me think of Nakamura Mariko in the documentary when she watched an episode where she guested but they didn't use any thing she said. And she was worried if they will call her again. I just don't want that to happen to Annin...

 

The "scene" that has these pictures has the name of "Roman Holiday", so this time they tried to give her the Audrey Hepburn aura. And, honestly, they nailed it pretty well!

 

In the case of Mariko, she was trying to stand out, that's why she was disappointed. Annin has taken the route of being the best version of herself and let the audience decide the rest. And in order to be the best version of herself, she'll at least have to be herself first. Of course, there will be some girls who the public consider more beautiful and more suitable for varieties. Good for them, but Annin doesn't need to play their game. There are tons of top tier artists who never appear on variety shows. Annin will get the recognition she deserves in area which she excels in.
