Look, so this isn't a new concept and in context makes a lot of sense... there is an equivalent Medical boat which patrols the area and does checkups for islanders in that kind of area... there was a serial about it and Nogizaka did some special appearances.

They would prob only do performances when laid up dockside in a major city.

Aligns to the strategy to use AKGB to link up to local areas and help to revitalise localities... per NGT.

Ah I'm already looking forward to this group, I hope they are having a sailor/sea/mermaid idol concept (like Aqours), not just orthodox idols on a boat. It would be nice if they have kennin members with HKT and NMB, and they perform in the nearest cities.

Also, the boat must be pretty big, I don't think they'll be performing on a stormy day with rough sea if the boat is too small, although that would be funny to watch lol.

Well, this is... new, at least. I mean, i love the idea and all, but it's going to be awfully expensive and would suck the crap out of management, not to mention the auditions and all. Looks like a sea-based Team 8 kind of thing, (wich is awesome btw). We´ll just have to wait and see. I´m trusting you Aki-p!

 

I think the video showing such a big boat is a kind of... false advertisement?
Like, there's literally no incentive in having a cruise in that little sea? if you told me it was a huge cruise around Asian countries, fine, but this is not it.

It's probably just gonna be a yatch with a big deck where the girls can perform with ease.
The yatch will go on its own around the sea and the girls will probably go to the cities by train/plane.

I can already see them collaborating with Team 8, since they're gonna be touching so many prefectures.

 

I'm still sad that they threw away "Three Mermaids" for Riko/You/Chika and I still call them that. Lol. But, OMG, YAS! I would love for their concept to be Mermaid Idols! Maybe a la Mermaid Melody?
