Ugghh why do they always have to make this drama-esque PVs that have nothing to do with the song... Beautiful set, beautiful costumes. All wasted.

 

Well this single is definitely shaping up to be a favorite for me. I love the song, the covers are absolutely beautiful and the PV is beautiful as well. The only thing I wish is that we saw a little more of the other senbatsu members rather than just the same top people.

 

I love what they did with the colors palettes though. During the opening scene with Naachan, Ikuchan and Kazumin, they were all in blue. Nanamin is mostly in red. The scene with Reika is all green. Then the shot with Maiyan and Sayurin is in cream. Though I'm not sure I quite the scene distribution. I think I barely saw Maichun in the PV.

 

Well, I don't know... maybe it's just me being sentimental. But I love every aspect of the MV. Way better than Harujion. The mood of the PV IMHO fits the song. Everybody looks gorgeous... of particular note is of course Nanami. But I really like Nanase with her glasses. She looks so sexy that way, IMHO. Everybody else is also looking very nice although most got only a split second of screentime each. I love the uniform they wear, very beautiful and really accentuate their individual beauty. In all, this seems to be yet another Nogi hit at least for myself. A song I'll listen over and over again. And perhaps an MV I won't get bored with, something I'll watch again when I am feeling nostalgic.

Now, if you all will excuse me, I'll go to that corner over there...

Looking forward to Unders' song, the line-up looks interesting!

Just re-watched the MV... goosebumps all over... the ending scene is heart-breaking...

 

MV was pretty much what we expected but still...the last scene, ninja cutting onions.
But compared to the gracious, vibrant Harujion ga Saku Koro, this one has very deep meaning, classy and spectacular.

 

I particularly liked the "thorny hands" metaphor... dunno, makes me think about the essence of relationships... (it's just me being silly, I know)...

 

Classy, elegant and mysterious. MV pretty much caught Nanami's idol image spot-on. Ending was great. She was there... and then she wasn't. Symbolism game on point.

 

I just find the scene during the actual play so captivating. I'm also mystified by the folklore (棘人/thorn people?) they're playing here. I've been trying to look for it but no luck. Is it an actual folklore? Same goes for the book. If anyone knows about these stuff, please help me find them lol. I'm very curious to know what the story behind it is.

Also, this reminded me a lot of Spirited Away lol. Definitely my most favorite shot.

+1 to that! Might be one of their best uniforms. Makes me kind of disappointed that they show it only briefly.

 

I listened to the song once when it was revealed without the PV and now accompanied by the PV, and I love it. Everything about the single's visuals fits perfectly with the melancholic feeling I get when listening to the song - the PV, the CD jackets...

By the way, has someone got the miniposters ie. CDJapan is offering when ordering Nogi singles? I tried to search around with Japanese keywords, but couldn't find a definite answer: how big are the mini posters attached to Nogi singles (shop bonuses)?
