AKB48 Team 8 (Idols who go meet you project x Toyota)

If Yuiyui is the one asking her to help in deciding the setlist. She is asking the right person.

To be honest I think all three of them are in middle third at best in vocal between the team 8 members. Maybe because they are still 16/15 yo. Older members tends to have better technique.

Now, give Rinrin and Serika solo performance please I'm curious about what those two can do if they are alone on the stage.

 

Hell no! She has the voice of an archangel: it's so... special you can't even describe it. She had a decent 365 a long time ago, but everything else has been... I'm not even sure if she's better than Yuiyui.

Naru is still the best of the three. She even sang in SR after her concert, when Nagi was still doing hers.

I just watched some of the clips from the solo concerts. From what I saw, the performances weren't very good, although it wasn't as bad as I expected. I think the main issue is that they have a problem with dancing and singing at the same time. They're not used to having to manage their breathing. They don't have the experience because AKB very rarely sings live anymore and girls aren't selected for their singing abilities anymore.

I don't understand why they were given solo concerts. And given that they were singing live, why didn't they design a set list that would be easier to sing. I find the entire situation a bit frustrating. Just because they are popular doesn't mean they can put on a good performance. Even if my oshi was given a solo concert I wouldn't be happy about it.


On a different note, I hope that the team concerts get released.

New Team 8 Kami7???

 

It peacefully ended (best thing to ever happen this weekend).. I guess the next announcement will be at Request Hour next week then. And we still have time until 3rd anniversary so there was no need to rush announcing it. Somewhat disappointed but no one graduating alone is pretty great.

 

I like this lineup. Nanamin as the 7th girl is great at least for a small push.

I'll do a full report later in the week but a few comments:

-So the Kiseki ma Awanai unit was basically in the middle of the MC, they hadn't even changed and mentioned that it was put together really quickly
-When Tsucchan reappeared during High Tension she was actually in the Kiseki outfit lol
-Escape was the song that impressed me the most. They were all amazing.
-At the end of the unit, Yamada started with "actually, i have something to say, i... have to leave right now because i have school in the morning"
-Wimbledon had live singing and and was honestly kind of a hot mess with Yuiyui messing up the lines or even forgetting them at one point. They were on gondolas for part of it and I couldn't really tell but Naru tripped at the end and maybe almost fell off?

But in general it was a really great live. All the members looked like they were having a great time and the dancing was super energetic and on point. It really felt very 8-ish.

 

What a lame excuse! Why can't she admit that she didn't want to leave Nagi?

Hardly.

Now that the entire world burned everything is peaceful.

The biggest one is saved for the 48 Group Spring concert. And I'm not talking about the CD debut.

Nagi won't get away with this the next time.

Do you know if they're staying in Tokyo until the Request Hour?

 

All the members will return to their home tomorrow for now before getting send back to Tokyo for Request hour lessons. probably by Wednesday/Thursday but then again request hours songs are really standard so there's not much to practice for, so they might gather around Friday.

These past few weeks have been pretty hard on Hiichan,Tsucchan,Miuchan and other middle school who's amiss their exams.. Hiichan exams already started last week.
Pena had like a 5000 word English book review essay to finish so other college members are also pretty behind due to the recent concerts. Riona is also have a pretty hard time with all the homeworks,Shiorin have a tons of test next week. It's nice to have so many concert in a row but it's been a pretty hard for team 8 members because of the timing...

 

With this shitty weather? You can't even see the roads in Asahikawa. A certain someone is doing a SR after a long time.

But I thought they would. They should only perform three to four songs that they can dance with their eyes closed by now.

I wonder what would've happened to Naru had she stayed in HKT. Maybe she could've ranked 34th by now.

 

It can go 2 months for some girls before they appear on any sort of events so they do get rusty if we don't have events all the time like now. But yeah they should be able to dance all those song with their eyes closed after these past 3-4 weeks. Only positioning is a problem.

OH I completely forgot about Bunbun eight recording but yes some of them if not all of them will stay in Tokyo until after tomorrow I guess(no Tsucchan in Bunbun then ).
