I just imagine they survived a huge blow right before their debut..It could've damaged their image but the greatness of keyakichans cover it up

 

The part when the Captains meet Techi after she saw her alternate life the lyrics were 僕は絶対諦めないよ (I will never give up)

 

No actually. The Harada Mayu scandal happened riiiiighhht at the beginning so it doesn't even left a dent on Keyakizaka, people are just glad that a girl that... like that disappeared. After graduating she sells her story to magazine about how her career ended before it even started. Now rumor have it she works as an escort.

 

i think the story behind it that techi was considering to quit keyaki. She mention that at interview (about quitting)

 

I do wonder why when the captains stop Techi from walking left (as if trying to follow this alternate life and avoid progressing forward with the group) they instead run with her continuing left, rather than running right

What a song!! Beautiful cinematograph, meaningful scence and wonderful lyrics. No doubt this MV is the legacy of keyakizaka, from the establishment till now thank you Takahiro sensei and the producer for create this masterpiece

Then we see her walking left, before she meet and dragged by Yuukanen to the left.

Personally, I find this MV rough, awkward...and wonderful. And the lyrics never fail, for me.

Maybe they learned and made a blurrier version for the PV, so people will buy the BD. The distance won't matter if the image is sharper.

Yes, @too much idea, Manafi missing this may have enabled her to get into a better university. I hope there's a good compensation for it, anyway.

By the way, I liked Mayu on KeyaKake. I think she would have made a good idol. Did she sell her story or did they just take it? And the establishment on Shikoku was trying to make sure we thought it was her, but maybe it just wasn't. Life is difficult and complicated and hard to navigate. I do hope things work out for her. But no, they could not have even hinted at her story here.

We probably will never know unless they talk about it somewhere (Pretty sure someone will write something in blog in these one two days). Overture only say that it's an alternate universe where Techi is a normal student, who looked at the girls who passed her by with loneliness.

So it could be a symbolism of Techi wanting to graduate, or an alternate timeline where normal student Techi meets Keyaki Techi, and walked the same way as they did to see where it takes her. Normal Techi meets Yuuka and Akanen, who takes her to Keyakizaka.

PS: I like how, after pushing Techi into the line, Yuuka and Akanen swings their hand like a conductor and the members formed the formation.
