Single NGT48 1st [Seishun Dokei] (2017/04/12)

I was sure Junjou will be horrible - the pictures they posted on Twitter are amazingly bad. But the MV is really cute and I love it.

 

Just my own impression, I feel like NGT is trying not to dominate their image with one member, as opposed to keyakizaka. Okappa or Katomina center for AKB B-sides, and Rika center for the A-side. It is unusual for a center of the A-side not centering any B-side. Otherwise, the B-sides center vary.

NGT didn't work the same as the other sister group, like what HKT did with Meru, NMB with Sayanee, SKE with Jurina, etc. I thought Katomina will be the next ace, but there's.. No ace?

If Rika is the ace, why she just centered a song?

Meru only centered the a-side. Sakura and haruppi centered a b-side each.


Personally I am enjoying what Sony is doing with NGT.
Better to be a group that does it all.

EDIT: I'm actually referring to HKT's debut, but then, she also centered B-sides in the following two singles she centered.

 

I can't believe I just watched AOA type sexy choreography to a generic cutesy jpop song. That dance shot was so out of place: the pace, styling, and even the colour scheme was jarring.
Hinata is adorable though.

Edit: I will say it is kinda interesting, I do appreciate them doing something different and I actually like the idea a lot. The song is actually good too.

There's something very fresh about Junjo Yoroshko
idk how this can possibly be a b-side

Song: Perfectly combines a cheerleader anthem with a cute idol song and a pleasantly beautiful melody where Hinatan's solo and the girls come in between 1:00-1:17. The whole thing just works.
MV: Cray cray amazing! the girls look gorgeous, and both outfits are to die for. nuff said.
Dance: Love it. The dance makes it a real shame that this wasn't a-side. The hand and fingers move is very catchy and fun, I can totally see it performed on tv by an idol group, and the whole dance looks like it would be cool to cover by other groups.

 

Now I'm becoming more and more attracted to Junjo Yoroshiku. I find myself trying to listen to it sometime, and despite it feels weird, I keep replaying it.

It's so unique that it made me curious

 

Junjo Yoroshiku sounds really good and fresh, it's been a while since a 48G song's felt fresh. I'm really liking this single so far.

 

I love Junjo Yoroshiku! Probably my fave song from this single. Though I might be biased lol

And I totally see why it is called the Dance Senbatsu.
Take 7 other girls and all the hand movement and ass shaking will look unsynchronized. It looks perfect and easy if one girl does it, but trying to get 7 girls do it at the same time takes some practice. Though if they'll have the Dance Senbatsu a 2nd time, I want them to dance something more extreme too lol

 

So far, Junjou Yoroshiku is my favorite song in this single.

 

The MV for this song was okay, but I kinda found the 'sexy' dancing a bit jarring. Not to mention I kinda hate the song. Parts of it are so weirdly undone and distorted, and just not fitting a 'sexy' theme. The MV was shot nicely and the girls look nice. IDK I really disliked the song though. Maybe just the "daisuki da yo" part. Yikes

[EDIT] So I read some other people's thoughts on the song and I guess I'm really in the minority with disliking the song. The MV is good but IDK I just can't stand the song. It's like physically painful to my ears. It's like a cacophony to me. I must be weird though. But I'm glad people can enjoy this song, whatever floats your boat man.

WTH this should have been the A - side!!! This really sounds like keya.... or Junjou.... Seishun is cute but bland..

I dislike all the songs of the single so far The ones they used for akb singles are better imo.
