Great news! Excited to see the 3rd gens. Yamashita, Yoda and Sakaguchi.

I am little bit tired of 1st gen now in bingo so bringing up new faces is fun.

 

Same, I was extremely dissapointed and angry when I first heard it, but I've now grown to it. Then again the 3rd generation needs this show to help them grow in popularity so they can carry on Nogizaka46. I still wish that the 1st and 2nd gens would be regulars though.

 

As long as every Under member got compensated somehow in any way possible....

I wonder if they'll do a throwback to Nogibingo1 where Ijiri-san scares the crap out of the girls every episode. And they really need the inaugural cream pie face smash to be part of Nogibingo to be honest.

 

As long as they don't play that pingpong ball gag game again, I'm okay. Personally because I want to learn more about 3rd gen I want them to bring back Shoujiki Shougi.

My feeling:

 

I never really watched Nogibingo before. Can you recommend some good episodes so I can catch up?

 

Some of the 3rd gen really catch my eye.. I mean, I'm not entirely on board with having a 3rd gen only season, so I'm pretty sure in Nogibingo9 they'll bring back 1st and 2nd gen. If not, they'll bring them back mid season (watch this space)

 

Consensus says first season is bunk, hit their stride in the next few, but seem to be on cruise control in the past two seasons. With that being said, these are the seasons and episodes I usually return to watch:

• Season 1 Episodes 11 (Kashiwa sighting!) and 12 ("You've already lost!")
• Anything from Seasons 2, 3, and 4
• Season 5 Episodes 1 and 4
• The opening MC auditions (Episode 1) from Season 6 and 7
• Season 6 Episode 5
• Also, I got interested in Nogizaka46 because of their appearance on Episodes 286, 287 of AKBingo!

 

These are some of my fav episodes:

• S1 - For AKBINGO classics (Muchaburi Dodgeball, Shoujiki Shougi, Cream stuff etc). S2 is similar but with 2nd gen.
• Mousou Request - S2E3, S2E9, S3E5, S3E8, S4E8, S5E9, S6E8, S7E8
• Romantic Phrase Battle - S2E11
• Yankee Battle - S3E3
• Brides Special - S3E4
• Cooking Battle - S3E9
• Stewardess Special - S4E3
• Secrets of beloved queen - S4E6
• Heroes Special - S4E9 (Ikutarian vs Nanasemaru)
• Imouto Special - S5E3, S6E11
• Assistant MC auditions (Ep 01 of S6, S7)
• Work Interview - S6E3
• Story of Ikuo - S6E4, S7E3
• That visit to Reptile Cafe - S6E5
• Cute Neko - S6E6
• Part-time job tour - S7E4-E5
• Romantic short films - S7E10

Your best bet is to just watch them all from Nogibingo 1 through 7 because all the episodes are pretty good in their own way. Theres around 10 episodes in each season give or take 2. Almost all of them have eng subs too.

You should also check out Akbingo aswell but that has a lot more episodes to catch up on. (way over 400 episodes going back over 8 years now ). Both the shows have excellent hosts, including both the Badboys pre-epi 400 and WRH post-epi 400

 

Keyabingo is nice and still relatively easier to catchup for now hehe

 

Wow I remember binge watching Nogibingo but completely out of order. I think I started on Season 3, then all of 4, all of Two and all of one. At the time 5 was just starting. It was a good time. I quickly memorised all of them which surprised me

 

Thanks for all your advice. Because my busy schedule doesn't allow me to watch all episodes before the new season, it's good to have a 'best of' list to catch up.

I already watched the first 4 episodes of S1 yesterday, and I had a blast! I didn't expect it to be so funny, but I kept on laughing out loud.
At the same time, it's nice to get to know some Nogi history. I am definitely looking forward to the rest.

 

Good job! It's easier to watch NogiBingo! than it is to watch their main variety shows, NogiDoko or NogiChu. Something about a complete season in 12 episodes does that. And most of them were subbed.
