I'm incredibly happy about the remaining Keyaki girls making it into the top 50, I was expecting 50 to be the highest some of them went (except for Techi who I expected to be around 20-30, but with the way things are going maybe she's in the top 10). I'm definitely surprised that Naako is in the top 50, even higher than Uemu and Miichan.

05. Hiwatashi Yui (+7) - sad to see Hiwatan get negative votes, I wonder why? I just think she's cute (although it would be nice if she got more meat on her bones) and she's always a really shining energetic performer. Her showrooms are nice and relaxing too.
06. Sashihara Rino (+6)
08. Motomura Aoi (+5) - [edit: i missed my angel Aoi!] She is a cutie, I always liked her from back when I started following HKT. I just really like her personality and watching her in theater and variety.

15. Omori Miyu (+2) - I like Miyupon for the same reason as Hiwatan. She's a soothing presence and a good performer. I think she really tries her hardest at being an AKB member.
16. Tani Marika (+2) - didn't follow Marika as closely last year as I have past years but she's just as zany as ever. Really enjoy her presence in whatever group she's in.
19. Yumoto Ami (+1)
20. Goto Moe (+1) - think I missed her in last time's update. Well, I like her a lot from what little I see of her, squirreled away on Team B. But really, she's stepped up and became a leader, which I admire. Her voice is great and she's just a really good member of AKB.

This year, Jurina didn't make my list. I feel like she's stagnating. I don't think she's changed much, if at all, in the past 2 years and she just isn't interesting to me anymore. Only my own opinion, I'm sure there are people who disagree. However, I'd like to hear people's reasons for downvoting Jurina so much. I don't think she's done anything offensive. I guess maybe people on this forum really are bored with the old members and want them all to leave regardless of what they are or aren't doing.

Goto Rara also didn't make my list this year. At first I thought she was a promising rising member but now I'm not sure what I feel about her. Her showrooms kind of bored me and her image is totally bland. Well, she still has room for growth, maybe next year.

Glad to see Oda Nana and Uemura ranking this year. Even all the Hiraganas too, I didn't vote for any of them yet but after watching recent KeyaKake episodes I'm starting to take interest in them too. The rest of Keyaki members is in the top 50

I was one of the negative voters for Yamada Noe. I wasn't fond of her character from the start but I remember being at all the handshake events last year where her lane was next to / near Saho's and I could hear her shouting to fans outside of her lane the whole time which was really annoying. It was especially loud and distracting when I was in the middle of handshake with rather softspoken Saho, and at handshake, every second counts. So yes I took that personally.

I guess I will start to give reasons too:

04. Matsui Jurina (+8) - This is mainly because I've liked her for a while, but honestly she's getting stale. She never changes and she's really never been able to live up to the hype. I can see this dropping a lot next year's ranking unless she does something this year to catch my eye. Also with that ugly blonde hair...

06. Cho Kurena (+6) - Really started liking Cho this year, she's super cute (until she cut her hair) and I love her voice and guitar.

08. Matsuoka Hana (+5) - Just think she's extremely beautiful, her personality (or lack thereof) is also awesome

11. Kitano Hinako (+4) - No reason besides I think she's hot (at least I'm honest)

15. Chiba Erii (+2) - Well, its about time AKB got some great young gens. Erii is the best of the bunch for me. Super cute and I think she'll grow into a front member

16. Yamaguchi Maho (+2) - She's the only attractive ngt member, too bad for the lisp or I think they'd have put her as center. Also, a particular showroom episode which was awesome!

17. Eto Misa (+2) - Same as #11. Other than that she really has nothing. Probably won't be on the list next year.

20. Nakano Ikumi (+1) - Well if it was 2017 I'd have dropped her, and she fell a lot from my ranking last year. I guess I don't really care about her anymore, her star has fallen and she's not really on my radar anymore. Every once in a long while I'll see her and be like "Oh yea, she's still there". 95% chance she won't be on this list next year.

02. Matsumura Kaori (-4) - Need I say more?

03. Suda Akari (-3) - Maybe the most annoying member in the entire group? Her tears were the best part of that SSK. If she is a "kami" member, god help us all.

05. Miyazaki Miho (-1) - Just want her to leave already... I've disliked her since what.. 2008? I can't ever remember her going on AKBingo back in the day and thinking "oh nice, myao is on". That feeling has stayed for 10 years now. I think she's one of those people who think they're funnier and more important then they are. But they are not.

How I wish I had more negatives! If I remembered Hirary, I'd have given her a negative too

You know what's actually funny though? The fact that an inactive S48 moderator account got compromised last year and went on to delete a whole bunch of Team S threads. What's even funnier? The fact that the compromised moderator still appears to have moderator privileges: @Afro_Stud

It's no surprise to me that Jurina has 13 less positive votes this time around. A lot of Jurina oshis (myself included) don't bother posting on S48 anymore. I mean, why would we care about participating in this when S48 staff didn't care enough to fix the above mentioned mess?

 

That's definitely a problem with her. She just destroys in 2 booth radius. X)
I can't complain though because I don't go to HS events and just watching this on twitter is ridiculous as fuck. EPIC!
