Howdy, I'm a new fan as of this year. I came across akb48 in a variety show... Gaki no Tsukai's No Laughing new years special from a few years back. They had some dancing toy monster and it was dancing to Heavy Rotation.

Like I always do, I googled them and the song up to learn more about the unknown reference on screen and found a video of two girls trying to blow a cockroach into each others' mouth... Became a fan of AKBINGO! and then slowly of the group(s) and music as well. Now I have most of their music from their "indie" days to Koi Suru Fortune Cookie. I have another four years to catch up on but I'm also watching concerts on Blu Ray (trying to get into DMM...).

I'm a halfu (Chinese/Ukrainian), born and raised in Toronto, Canada and looking to do the English teacher thing in Japan now.

Fan of too many members to mention but probably can safely say Murashige Anna (Aanya) and Oku Manami (Machan).
