This may be a noob question but is Sugai Yuuka the captain for Kanji Keyaki only or both Kanji and Hiragana? If Kanji only, who is the captain for Hiragana?

The other way around would be more accurate. Its the management that keeps on giving the center position to Techi, and as Techi said multiple times, the only thing she can do is stand in that position and try her best to fulfill the responsibilities that come with it.

 

It's really funny how desperate some fans are for that scandal drama.

Most likely, someone is just subscribed to HSJ fan mail and the members talked about it, got bbq together and wrote about it. Which, when you think about it, makes a ton of sense. When I was Nen or Aoi's age I also had my own guy idol faves and would've likely subbed to their mail too.

There was a post somewhere mentions that Akimoto Yasushi really likes Tecchi, and might play a lot with these decisions.
Tecchi is basically facing what Ikoma is facing before, and she did proved she can be a great performer, although might be overworking herself.

However as others mentioned already, if they kept on doing absolute center it'll be no different than what AKB used to be, and then same issues might rise again.
It's kind of different with Nogi when up to 5th single they are not in their peak of popularity yet. Keyaki gains popularity much faster so I think members will have more wishful thinking to fill the center role ASAP. Heck even they already have up to 3rd gens to compete with in just 3 years.

Next we'll having fans asking for what? Keyaki Sousenkyou?

 

Keya is different from AKB. AKB didn’t have an “absolute senbatsu”.

 

i think at this moment,we should treat Hiragana like a sister group already (Hiragana only missing an A-side single)

 

If things go really well I could see a Kanji 2nd gen come in and all of Hiragana 'graduates' and relaunches into their own group like Toriizaka46 or whatever. Maybe some would be a bit conflicted about not being Keyakizaka any longer, but I think that would be overshadowed by the fact that they'll no longer be the permanent second fiddle to Kanji. And then they can be 3rd in the Sakamichi Series.

 

Why whould they do something like that? lol
They already got things no other "unders" ever had.
They are Hiragana Keyaki and they're pretty good like that. No need to create a problem where it doesn't exist.
