In April of last year I became a regular on Iwate’s “Matsuhara Yuki’s After School Radio.” I’d have to give advice to people who want to follow their dreams, but at first my advice wasn’t good at all (lol). But recently I’ve gotten better at it.

This past year, I’ve been thinking about Team 8 a lot more. There have always been people within the staff or the members who we could go to if we had problems. But recently, those members who I’ve always talked to for my problems have problems of their own. It’s like until now I’ve never really seen anyone other than myself, so when I was able to see the group as a big picture, it really had an impact on me. So from that moment on, I’ve been thinking about the other members-- or rather the team-- rather than just myself. The reason for all of this is that I’ve turned 18, I became an adult suddenly, and some of the older members have already graduated, so it’s like I’ve suddenly become one of the older members in the team. For this fifth year, I’d like to sing more cool songs so that we can show everyone a different side to our group. I want us to become more well known, and I think that it’s about time that we saw the results of our hard work, so this year I want myself and Team 8 to leave an impression!
