@nvmea No offense but I cannot even finish the video. She has an oddly unpleasant voice. She also seems to struggle a lot singing these songs. Are we hearing the same thing?

I asked, do you even know how previous centers were chosen? Because we're watching the THIRD season of P101 and if you do know how, Yoojung AND Daehwi, the previous centers, were chosen then you'd understand.

I'm not a very big fan of Sakura, but even I understand, even my friends who have watched the previous seasons understand, because we understand how the show works.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was AKS trying to guess when the unveiling would be most effective.

Also, Sakura has been the only one who was confirmed to be in the show when she missed that 2-shot event.
They could have said "she has scheduling conflicts" or whatever, but they went and said "She is doing Produce 48 stuff".

For me this is obvious.
There was no way AKS could let anything, be it a powerfull foreign company behead interfere with the sousenkyo.
Original expected airing (may) was horribly conflicting. They lost enough last year. (money and image)

The re evaluation round is .... interesting.

 

Even the best performers messed up their re-eval and being downgraded. If Kang Mina can manage to stay at A then I dont think not achieve able for Sakura since its not like she's terribly offkey (rather pretty on key) nowadays while alot of 48G girls are. The dance is not even that hard

Re-eval grading seems pretty fair, its not they can put Sakura at the top ranks if she's not up to the standard with the same tier girls. Its just gonna cause negative reactions

Daehwi did the female version of Pick Me and got chosen by the contestant as the center while others who even made their own lyrics and dance don't. Why? Because the contestant thought he is suited to be the center. Is it that hard?

 

This times 1000000. Also you have to take into account the overall situation. You get ~ 3 days to learn the whole song and dance, and you're up all hours of the night practicing, and you're nervous about re-evaluations. Hwang Minhyun is a fantastic vocalist and a perfectly good dancer and he bombed his way into D-rank for the first performance of nayana. Sometimes you're on and sometimes you're not. I'm guessing sakura put on a good performance and the other girls agreed.
