Just to relate this pd48 to mnl48.

I hope kpop fans will watch this segment:

if the video does not show watch the video here

It will clearly show that kr and jp really have a lot when it comes to their differences. Which is why 48 system that mnl48 follow will not have a robot dancing person but instead a human that will try their best for the performance.

While I agree with what you probably meant please stop calling Kpop idols “robots”. They also do their best to please their fans, interact with them during performances, and none of their performances are emotionless.
You just sound as bad & as uneducated as the kpop fans you’re criticizing.

Im so sorry for that, I realized that as well. What I'm trying to say is that they are almost perfect, it just comes out wrong.

    I don't hate kpop, I'm actually a ONCE.

I think what he means is that k-pop performances are so perfect that they become uncanny. Sure, it's eye candy, but then the synchronized movements become cold that it feels like watching a group of Asimov robots. It's a psycholigical contradiction. We want perfection but once we see it, it unsettles us and deem it out of place.

Some fans prefer if their idols are like gods and goddesses, admirable but untouchable. And there are fans like us who want our idols grounded and relatable.

Sheki, Alice and Rans are in Japan now~ :D I am so excited for this one, they will embrace 48 family in a few hours and be overwhelmed how big AKB in Japan is.

And also if Sheki and Alice are absent then Abby is the center for It's Showtime performance!! I hope it is Heavy Rotation I love to see Abby and Sela's duet. The duo tower of MNL48 8D

Yeah...but Sheki will be back next week. Meaning they'll likely give the center back to her.
    Oh well. We tried lol

They have a multi-part feature of their Japan trip, part 1 here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=0ZUpGQhttsw

The last part where the three sang Sakura is something. :approve:

That Suda 2nd place finish though.

I didn't get to finish the stream (early plans in the morning)

Was there ANY reference to MNL48 over the course of it?

Technically no. They were only mentioned in passing (along with all of AKB's sister groups) when announcing WRD48/World48.
Spoiler alert! None of the JKT or MNL member are part of it.

She just fished some Thai fans, or maybe also because of their CR version of Sakura.

I am so in love with our girls! The Sakura short version cutie Yangchan (?) I do hope this gets viral~! I really like what Sheki posted on her Facebook about performing on the stage with other sister groups. Go go MNL48!
