What is Naachan ‘s favorite manga?

It’s a summer to leisurely enjoy a book inside where it’s cool. What’s the book that Naachan is reading…?

The first book I finished is a romantic comedy with animals!

When I “read”, 99% of the time it’s a manga (lol). During primary school I was addicted to the shoujo manga “Puku Puku Tennen Kairanban”, and along with the main protagonist puppy, the characters are all animals like cats and dogs, and because I love animals and the story was wonderful, it was the first time I collected a complete volume.

After that, my taste gradually shifted to shounen manga, which started with a shounen manga magazine bought for my father and my older brother. When my brother finished reading it and I somehow opened it, the adventures of the main characters and the special abilities they possessed were different from shoujo manga, which shocked me. At that time I came across “Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin” and “Gag Manga Biyori”, which I still love to this day and are in my personal hall of fame! When I have the time, I pick up one of the volumes from my bookshelf at home and reread it. Even if I plan to read just a little, I lose myself and realize I am reading it while standing a while later (lol).

Another avid reader close to me is Kazumin (Takayama Kazumi). During waiting time on Nogizaka46’s job locations, she is always reading a novel. As for myself, I bring a novel on a long flight. However, when it comes to reading, there are many genres and I end up wavering which one to pick… Besides that, if there are many characters in the book, each time one’s name is mentioned I think “who is this person again?” and I have to return to the previous page. Because I can’t remember it visually, it requires more of my memory than manga does.

Being such a beginner when it comes to novels, I read “Reverse” by Minato Kanae-san, which was recommended by Kazumin. It’s a rather bulky book, but remembering Kazumin’s words “the ending is amazing!”, I constantly carried it around and continued to read it on my free time during work. As Kazumin has said, I did my best reading it to the end, expecting a surprise in the end. Kazumin has written a story for a magazine, so she has an author's side as well. When we visited Guam for work and shared a hotel room together, she opened her word processor while shouting “I have a deadline!”. I also read the story Kazumin has written, and her writing style is like a novelist, and doesn’t feel unnatural which I think is great.

If I may have a request for the next story to be written… please make sure it’s a story with not many characters (lol).
