I've liked her before she joined P48 but after her success in P48, I wanna follow her more.

Maybe I'd stan her in Korea as an IzOne member instead of an AKB48 because she's gonna be there until 2021.

I will be an exclusive [IZ*ONE] member until April 2021. It was also announced that my AKB48 activities will be suspended. .

My last handshake before my exclusive work (in IZ*ONE) will be on 10/21. I am unable to joing the handshake in Osaka on 10/7. I am really sorry to everyone who was looking forward to it.

When she comes back...

- The Olympics will be long gone;
- She probably won't know a few eitos;
- Some fans that don't want to follow K-Pop will have other oshimen;
- There won't be a Team 8 for her to come back.

Another thing, remember when she had to be out of Team B's shonichi and she said she wanted to participate in the future? Well, she certainly wasn't talking about 2021. That says a lot about the information that AKS or whoever manages IZONE gave to them and their work ethics.

 

So will she get replaced as the Tochigi representative? 2 1/2 years is quite long.

 

A friend said that any KKS from Tochigi can replace her. Unconfirmed indeed.

yeah i've been wondering whether they'll get saito haruna to replace her since she's from tochigi + bound to team b like hiichan. imo it would be better than auditioning a new representative since hitomi would be able to go back to team 8.

I'd say putting another 48G member in her place would not be a great idea. Some of the fans may not welcoming her as an eito. I'd rather left it vacant. Or recruit a new one, and give Hii to AKB4 once she come back. We'll never know if there is still T8 after her contract finished.

Even though that is like forcing her to "graduate".

2.5 years later maybe a lot of original T8 members will graduate.
I am still undecided if i am happy or sad about her. 2.5 years is too loong.

 

I didn't think they'd actually make the whole 2.5 years exclusive, omg...
But I'm happy she got to make senbatsu at least once before that, and hopefully fans won't be too upset about this. But damn...

Edit: Wait, her last handshake is in October but the single is only released in November. I still don't know exactly how AKB48 single's promo period works, but does this mean she won't get to promote it?

 

She won't. Time to find a new oshimen.

Truth is, for Toyota this probably doesn't make much difference: it's just one. I've always defended that instead of letting them graduate so easily they should allow them to take a long hiatus to do whatever they want, even if it's other work like acting or modeling, and come back when they feel they're ready. That would make a more stable lineup and they wouldn't feel the need to leave the team. But 2.5 years?... Remember what was the AKB48 Group two years and six months ago; that was March 2016, around Kimi wa Melody's time. Funny, the 54th single does give me Kimi wa Melody's vibes when it comes to AKS, if you know what I mean.

And please, don't replace her with anyone else while she's out. She should either graduate and leave her spot to a new member or the position should be hers until she's back. And, for now, Toyota hasn't shown any sign of wanting to let her go.

From what I've seen Toyota usually replaces graduating Team 8 members quite soon, right? But I wonder if, considering that Hiichan is about to get a LOT of attention, they'll keep her spot open for when she comes back instead of replacing her. Business wise, I think that'd be smarter in the long run, but what do I know lol.

Isn't it kinda selfish to "let" her holding on a position she's not occupying? Why not just get someone else do fill it?
