Single AKB48 54th [NO WAY MAN] (2018/11/28)

13th gen was almost completely neglected aside from Ryoka and the complete-disaster-that-was Kaoru until very recently. Even then, only Yuiri and they "slept on" her for a long time. Saho had stellar handshake sales and good SSK performance for years and got nothing for it. Mogi wasn't too terrible either and had a strong core following. 14th, yeah, they got a super push straight from the gate.

15th gen is not as badly neglected as 13th, but I would argue they chose the wrong initial replacement for Naanya, and haven't fully utilized Megu.

They could have included Sayanee and made her double center with Sakura.
But since she doesn't make money for them anymore (doesn't participate in SSK), they kick her out forever and Teacher Teacher is her final senbatsu in AKB48.

 

lol what? If I remember correctly, Sayanee will graduate before the single releases

 

but still, they will performing 365 kamihikouki couple times with sayanee as 48group face at the end year music show like nhk kouhaku, fns, jra, cdtv, music station super live, etc
so excluding her from senbatsu full of kpop girl is not a big deal for her future career

 

this MS with 365 was her last appearance on MS

I disagree. As much as I love Sayanne, she shouldn't be included in this single especially since she's leaving soon and this single is mainly for the produce48 sendoff/prequel single type of promotion and she has nothing to do with this.

 

the thing is that the izone members will come back sayanee wont come back again, i just wanted her to bein the single it doesnt matter if it is not in the center

 

It wouldn't make any sense to make her center in AKB just because she's leaving 48 when she's not an AKB member to begin with. AGain, this is coming from someone who loves Sayanne.. but hey, at least she's getting a proper sendoff in NMB and she's getting 2 solo covers!

 

thats why i didnt care if she was center or not i just wanted her to be in the song , but then why is sakura the center when she isnt a akb member too? bc she is popular so it could make sense for sayanee to be center too , im glad she gets a proper sendoff in her own group tho

This single is a tribute to Produce48 members who placed in the program's top 20, and a send off to the front liners to their IZ*ONE journey.
So whoever from the 48 girls who ended with the best place would have been the center. It could have been Nako, Miyu, Hitomi, Juri, Tomu, if <insert girl name> had got the most votes in the finale.
And this is the sole reason why Sakura is in the center.

 

This is also why Motu exclusion hurts less for me in this single.. especially since Kojimako and management fav, Renacchi and Komiharu are also excluded.

I mean, I'm not holding my breath for Tomu in 55th single but at least for this one, it somewhat makes sense/easier to stomach

 

Sayanee might have rejected Senbatsu position in this for all we know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ She's the kind of person who would do something like that. I don't remember Rena or Kitarie getting AKB single sendoffs either, I don't know how Sayanee would be any different without a kennin.

 

She is already center in her own NMB single

 

I am so far behind on this, but, will there not be any coupling songs for those other Types? Or do I really have to backtrack? Lol.

I kind of wish they included Moe and Sae in the single. Hopefully the other girls who participated in Produce48 are in the B-sides.
