I’m not really a big fan of the studio version of the Himig Handog song, it’s just... eh. BUT the live and acapella versions are so much better. I wonder why they had to put in too much autotune when all of them are good singers. I have nothing against autotune but there’s a time and place for that.

The two kids sounded really good here, such a shame their vocal colors got hidden. They also should’ve used more of MNL48’s harmonizing in the final track.

It's like they are making MNL48 a tribute group of the old AKB48. This is the second time that they made an almost exact copy of the AKB48 uniform.

oh and I wish the SakuHana MV will have the 'group' voice version not the solo heavy auto tuned album version.

Edit: Nvm. Just saw the mv and as expected it's the album version of course. It just looks a bit awkward when I see them singing together and it's only Sheki's voice I'm hearing. Much more weird when the screen goes to Sela but with Sheki's voice. Like it's hard for me to connect the other girls as the singers because the solo sounding voice ruins the group singing vibe. It's like watching a Korean soap opera being dubbed. It feels...unnatural.

Ok ranting over. It's frustrating but I'll get over it someday.
