It looks like this is releasing in quite a brutal week...Aqua Timez, GLAY, Kimaguren, Hoifesta feat. Hiroki from Orange Range, Koda Kumi, Arashi...I don't think they'll get #3 again, but I'm still hoping for sales near Oogoe Diamond levels.

 

^With all of their new fans, I can't imagine it being below Oogoe Diamond. I'm sure the promotions will be huge, too.

 

I'm a bad fan and haven't heard this until today XD I love the song Well, I love the chorus, but that's good enough. I already like the PV more than Oogre because I see more Miichan people. The TakaminaAcchan moments are cute, too, so I won't whine about being sick of Acchan XD

Assuming that Zakura sells around Oogoe level

Arashi 1st, Glay 2nd is for sure unless Glay changes his release date
3rd will either be AKB48 or Koda Kumi
It might sound ridiculous that AKB48 can beat Koda Kumi but looking at her singles sales, it doesn't seem impossible. her last single 'stay with me' sold 58k in two weeks combined sale, which means she sold less than 50k her first week so it is doable. The difference is that this time her single is AAA,meaning that she is going to have three title songs. Last time she came up with multiple-side songs, which was Moon, she sold pretty well. Her album trick sales went down more than 50% compared to last year's kingdom so I wouldn't say it is impossible to beat Koda.

Ken- I don't think he is going to sell that well cuz Larc isn't selling that well either and there is not way he can outnumber Vamps, solo project by Hyde(LArc's vocal)
Aqua Timez - Their singles sales are not great at all, and this is before their album so will be probably loiw
Shibasaki Kou - Really depends on the song but Kou do not sell singles that well...and even KOH+ last year didn't sell well so I don't think she's going to sell enough to beat AKB48
YUKI - no treat at all
Ito Yuna - her last few single sales have been ridiculous, only threat is that this is gundam00 tie-up and most gundam songs sell pretty well...but looking at how Yuna is doing, I don't think it will matter
Kimaguren - Only sells well on downloading. hard copy won't be sold that much

so basically it is fight for 3rd between AKB48 and Koda Kumi

Arashi will get #1 spot without a doubt.
GLAY and Koda Kumi...hmm...can't decide...
GLAY's popularity isn't like the way it was in the 90s anymore...
But I'm also guessing GLAY will still get 2nd spot.

That leaves Koda Kumi....hmmm
IMO, AKB's battle will be against her..
Sure, Koda gets a lot of spotlight and TV appearance...
But her sales isn't that strong...so it will be a good match...
I'm guessing AKB48 will be either 3rd or 4th...

It also depends on how this single will get crowd's attention.
Will it be the same as Oogoe? or would it be slightly less?
How often the members will appear on TV and advertise their new single?

 

It will be MASSSSSSIVE promotion for AKB48 if they beat Koda`s ass.

AKB48 beating Koda Kumi?!! I sure could pay to see that.

Looks very difficult, but who knows, miracles exist. The single has a chance, talking about japanese fans likes, I think the song has all that it needs to get the fan's attention , but... ... ... will be enough?

At this point I only ask one thing; that they dont go under the 5th place :roll: .

 

Actually, I think we're going to have to...

I'm really anxious to see the PV. If they've seen it in the theater, that means it should come out soon, right? And I'm assuming that if they are going to show clips of Shibuya AX with the LODs (or whatever is going on there), They might add in the PV... but they didn't do that with Oogoe Diamond... then again, they did raise the price...

Something that has been bothering me for quite a while now: The b-side's opening part reminds me of another song, possibly by Speed, but I can't remember the name... Damn, I hate it when this happens... :roll:

I might be completely wrong with Speed but when I listen to the song I always think of them...

 

The B-side reminds me of the beginning of Jyukai's song, Winter Song
