Maybe it has to do with the fact that the sister groups released singles, so their fans applied for HS there for them, while for AKB girls, this is their first single in a long time so their fans waited for long... I don't know though, but yeah it's nice seeing AKB members do well :chuffed: I'm sure a lot more girls will have sold out slots in the next round of course, I think the single will do fine, let's see.

Looks like Moeka is struggling to sell out slots compared to last handshake event.
Btw. we only get data about sold out slots we don't know how how many tickets they actually sold in total?

You're taking what I said way out of proportion. I never said that people who have mental or emotional issues aren't good enough to be fans. I said that they're better off without those fans who believe themselves to be in a relationship with one of the girls and consider it cheating when she dates someone else, or believe that they own the girl in some way. There's nothing wrong with fantasising about your idol and picturing yourself in a romantic relationship with them, but there is something wrong when that causes you to dislike your idol when she no longer caters to that imagination of yours.

Ishida Chiho is selling really well 22/40 ..not even surprised tbh [hehe] Moeka is really struggling it seems , again everyone knew this was gonna happen (everyone except AKS it seems):fear:

If I read it correctly, Moeka sold out 9 slots with 2 more slots almost sold out. it's only the 3rd round too. How is that "really struggling"? Seems like she's doing fine.

What would be more interesting is not comparing her to others, but comparing to her previous results.

I don't think that's a fair comparison since she wasn't going to sell as fast as long-time strong sellers considering she's still really new, like her theater debut was May 2018. Barely over a year ago. The expectations on her are crazy if 9 (+2 almost) sold out slots in the 3rd round is considered weak and really struggling... I think she's doing more than fine tbh

Girls like Jurina and Dasu would still sell plenty with SKE singles being released close or with the SSK taking hundreds of thousands of potential sales away.

We’ll see how the numbers look by the release date tho.

You're right actually, and it seems like things changed a lot in the 3rd round if I read it correctly, Jurina has now 23 sold out slots, and Suda has 22 (+ 1 almost). I guess they just needed some time. it rise fast :^^;:

I'm curious about the sales too, we'll see... I think there's less versions this time but tbh it's all about HS, so if the HS are good, I guess they'll be fine. and there's still a long time before the release, so they can probably do more rounds than usual.

    3rd rounds

The only groups with members who sold out in the first two rounds are the ones that are firmly under AKS, so that doesn't seem very likely. Of course we're now in the fourth round so those numbers are kind of outdated (AKB still leads heavily). Third round preorders are significantly higher than the same round for Jabaja, NWM, and Jiwaru Days.

And for Sentimental Train she was 100% sold out in round 3. Admittedly that was with only 12 slots but still.

Considering they made her center after "barely a year", no, no I don't think these expectations are "crazy".

tbh AKS should just put Moeka in the back row and let her work her sales back before pushing her to the front. I mean she's still popular at 9/28(2).

    Other notable young members
    Hinachan (STU) 4/32
    Cocona (NMB) 4/30

Yukirin still out here selling out handshake slots this late in her career, gotta respect that.

Also, Yuiri selling out 33 slots in the 3rd round... incredible... I wonder if she'll get a chance to center a single too.

Speaking from experience, some members do. Moeka is one of them. And I am pretty sure they are doing it deliberately. Well...not actually touching, but bringing it close to 5cm-ish when you can't lean further forward because of the barrier will make most fans (yes even female) to be quite nervous. :nosebleed:
To be fair, there are members who do it with one extended hand and her other hand is on her hip, and act like she just DGAF
There are fans who like going to fisher-type. But after doing HS with most of SO members, my conclusion is: the queens are mostly more than decent listener and talker. Popularity may follow, those who start with only popularity but cannot hold good conversation...rarely stay on top.

The "curious phase" is going to end. I do think she will sell decently, but less spectacular than predicted.
Except, if she have the right mental attitude on the early HS dates, people may buy more in resales for the later dates.

About the discussion, well...have to say it is less bloody than usual.

Less sales for Jurina actually kind of surprised me. Yes SKE just released a single, but so does STU. Look at Chiho's sales.
To be fair, Chiho still has the gimmick slots. Unlike Jurina and Yumirin who only have the "thank you for coming card" like Naachan, Yuiri, Mion, Yuiyui, and some others. Chiho might sell great, but I think some of it is from the "curious fans" who went to Moeka earlier. Tho, I can confidently say she has that factor to be HS queen. I might be biased because I fell for her already. But so far, only less than 3 members who manage to remember what we talked about at the first time I went to her with only 1 ticket.

I went the second time to Chiho with some weeks gap from the first visit. With 2 tickets, the moment I step in front of her she went "thank you for coming again, last time you told me you will go see me on STU stage in 2 weeks right? Promise me you will buy my goods and wave at me there okay?"; Me: "ah, yes of course I will, find me there okay?"; at the day of the performance she pointed and waved back after seeing me holding her flag.

Okay, back to sustainable....what kind of undergirls song they will go this time :fear:

Honestly, I tought her turn had come, be it solo center or YuuNaa, and they would have waited more months to let Moeka's story die for good.
    Maybe next ?
