My copy of Marika's DVD has finally arrived (together with the Yahoo online store bonus photo), I'll watch it sometime this weekend and I'll post a review of it here.

I received my copy of the DVD like 20 days ago

.. seriously, i only bought it because is Tani...

 

I watched the DVD yesterday and I've put a few thoughts in the spoiler below in case I give away anything to anyone here who is waiting to view it.

Initially I wasn't sure what to expect as I've always considered Marika to be 'cute' rather than 'sexy', someone who makes me feel good mainly through her appearances in variety shows. I felt that the first couple of scenes were a little weak but the bathroom scene with her lathering herself was rather better. Then came a scene with her in a blue one-piece mizugi which was definitely very good and it properly showed that she had a sultry, seductive side to her character which I wasn't expecting. One of the last scenes in the bedroom also showed off her sexier side.

However in the kitchen scene with her in a maid costume she was more like the Marika I've known in the past where she was cute and funny, indeed she made me smile a lot here! However the camera also provided some sexier close-ups. Overall I enjoyed the DVD very much and it was certainly good to see Marika in a selection of very different scenes, however I feel that her body is a little better for 'oshiri' rather than 'oppai' close-ups.

Finally a piece of trivia - in the yukata scene where she's on a roof of a hotel, it's the same hotel roof which appears in the MV of Nogizaka46's 15th single, 'Hadashi de Summer'.
