finally some spotlight for Riru!

 

Oh damn... they perform KFC for 1-millionth time? Again??

 

i hope to at least see sumthing new to kfc, like a dance-break care of yukirin or any from the old timers like miichan or jurina

 

KFC again? For the nth time? And this will be a world senbatsu, some members will miss out to accommodate the members from the overseas sister group?

 

Maybe Miichan will center and have Acchan, Takamina, and Yuko surprise her.

 

We cant blame them for picking KFC is the most global song for 48group and easy choreo, this song definitely familliar for overseas 48g.

I really hope no senbatsu loses their places. If they had to include overseas groups, then just make it a bigger group, like the usual senbatsu plus 1 or 2 representatives from each group.

KFC is unavoidable though, it is the most performed 48G song in many music shows.

Instead of KFC, 365nichi should have also been considered. It's also one of their most recognizable song in Japan. The international sister groups could have just given two solo lines each in their respective language but will sing the chorus in Japanese.

Too late for that though, KFC it is.

I hope they at least make it more interesting by letting everyone wear a traditional dress from their home country.

 

But I think KFC is already translated and they are already used to it so it's the easiest way.

 

I agree it's the easiest. Although I think 365 was already translated for 3 international sister groups.

Well I was just hoping for some variety. KFC is still a good choice although overplayed. I just hope they add something new or interesting in this KFC perf.

At the end of the day, I'm just happy AKB still got invited.

 

I understand your point and agree BUT many international sister group members are also quite fresh and not used to performing at big things like this, especially not in Japan, so they will be very nervous. They also probably won't arrive to Japan a long time before and will have little time to practice with AKB (and other sister group) members. Therefore, it's best to pick a safe song they already know the lyrics and dance to and can perform well rather than having them learn a new one with a lack of practice and end up doing a mediocre performance.

They're ending Pajama Drive stage on 27th: https://ameblo.jp/akihabara48/entry-12560439828.html Hopefully the remaining kenkyuusei get promoted on the last day of the stage, or at least get another stage that will act as a kenkyuusei stage (even if it's not a proper kenkyuusei stage since they don't have enough people for that).

 

I will miss this stage revival; it's the stage that helped me found my new oshi in Hitomin. In general, it also helped broaden by AKB experience to include stages. I do hope the remaining Kenkyuusei get promoted.
