    because there is no need to add extra symbolism to a MV overflowing with it ....
    And yet you seem to feel the need to argue about it

    Good to know describing what literally happens in the MV is somehow adding extra symbolism.

    Ahh yes, I'm being the contrary one. Cough. Carry on.

    She shows us the positions of the seats when lighting the candles, where Miichan sits and with the lighting of the seats he tells us who they represent as if they were spirits.

    Numerical Symbology:

    1 means the start, last, only, me.

    21 symbolizes perfection, integrity and all powerful unity.

    8 means the beginning. It symbolizes the transition between heaven and earth, and written horizontally, represents the infinite. It is considered as the number of justice and equity.

    1 + 8 = 9

    9 Symbolizes the inner Light and the 9 muses.

    The graduation ceremony of Miichan of MV it is perfectly an initiation of transmits knowledges from senpai to kohai.

    I'm excited :cute: toward years that there were not so many symbolisms in an MV of AKB48. :flower:

    PS: Has anyone counted how many candles there are in the general plane of the MV?

    her gradcon is on april 2nd, the day after my birthday, but it's still gonna be my birthday when it starts because of timezones and stuff, it's gonna be so emotional;; cannot wait to see this song live. does anyone have ideas as to which graduated members might come back? i'm personally hoping for a no3b reunion but i might be too hopeful;;

    People should be able to interpret the MV however they like. This is an emotional time for people who appreciated Miichan, oshis or not, and if there is some meaning they could derive from the MV then I think the video itself is better for it. On surface level it's already sweet and emotional, but the fact that people can attach their own individual experiences with Miichan apart from the intentional symbolism makes it special. I think that's the magic of graduation songs :B

    Shitsuren, arigatou first performance but it's the last Music Station of Miichan. The full choreography of the song is really cute, lots of heart-sign were used. At the end of the performance all the girls do the "M-sign" and push Miichan from the back to center. Cameraman today is working really well too, lots of focus on Miichan despite she is in last row. They also have talk at the end of the show and give Miichan a big bouquet, congratulate on your last MSte stage, Miichan.

    well, his focusing skills could use some work, and I don't mean focusing on Miichan, I'm all for that, but the technical thingy of keeping the image sharp, that didn't always go according to plan ;)

    (otoh, I could not do that ... I have trouble enough doing manual focus with a photo camera)

    The song is soo beautiful:cry::cry::cry:
    It's a masterpiece compared to the main A-Side.
    Best luck to Miichan.

    I really don't understand why people are complaining about the A-side. It's my favourite since 2017
