Single NMB48 25th [Shidareyanagi] (2021/06/16)

I like song, but nothing special, the costume for Miru is amazing.

 

The latest one was more punchy, but cute NMB is also nice.

The choregraphy looks neat, quite prcise here, Nambattle effect.
It seems to have some Akane (Last Idol choregrapher) vibes.

It looks like lately, NMB48 are becoming the dancing group

 

Miru looks stunning (like always ) Song is semi, but ok better than the most 48/46 songs releases the last year.
Happy seeing Keito In a good position and wow Rei is 3rd?


With Miru's graduation I am excited how the "new" NMB will rock this.

 

I also like the song. Costumes are good and Mirurun looks great!

Some one posted Kamioto TV program, where NMB appeared. This program features their 25th single.

1st segment - Miru, Nagisa & Rei performed Detective Conan theme song.
2nd segment - NMB voted No1 idol group in the Kansai region. (not sure how the voting was done, but they interviewed people on the street ???)
3rd segment - NMB performing Nagichi (7 members) & Shindare Yanagi

Reechan and nagisa in front row!! Yeay for gravure queen and variety queen!!

 

The song, the choreography, the costume, the performance overall gave me a mixed feeling. Not really sure which image/concept are they trying to convey. But since I don't know Japanese and so I can't understand the lyrics and the title (if someone has translated or describe, can you tell me?), I surely don't see the whole picture yet.

I felt that the song has an upbeat-kinda tune to it. Some put on happy expression at times, some put on serious expression at other times, or some members put out both each at different times. The choreography is sharp & fast, cool-looking, but has some wacky poses. The costume color theme and cut give off cool & sexy vibes, the design is kinda ... I'm not sure what's the word, but it kinda feel like anime magical superheroine costumes rendition of western court dresses?

Anyhow, the girls looked really good, very beautiful. Some moments from the performance that caught my attention:

Keito is really cute & pretty. She piqued my interest in the group picture as she kinda looked like Aayan (visually, and with that hairstyle too). Then when I see her in the performance, she caught my attention.



Miru is gorgeous. Full stop. In this performance, it felt like such a factual statement.


Nagisa looked really sharp here


Some members I noticed for the first time:
Yasuda Momone looked really adorable in the way she was being expressive during her close-up shot which is the part after Keito & Abe Wakana (I think, not really sure, I don't recognize her, tried matching the kanji of her name from the group picture with name tags & senbatsu members list) ducked down and she was standing in the middle of the formation, singing a line shared with Uuka & Kawakami Chihiro (...I think?). I found her smile captivating!


Then there was Sadano Haruka. Her close-up scene, her moves in it were really cool. I found her adorably cute (her round facial feature, the type like Hiichan or Uuka), visually.


Lastly and more as a passing note, there was Ishizuka Akari who I noticed kinda look like Murase Sae in the way she moves, facial expression-wise.

 

Yea, I pretty much agree with most of ya'll, the song is average at best. The performance was ok. The younger girls were giving it their all which was nice too see, but the song doesn't allow for much.

 

Shidare Yanagi is one I want to hear the full version of before I decide on it. The 2 minute version from that live is lacking all manner of hook and gives me very little hope though. Outfits are nice. Choreography is very basic, but can't say it doesn't fit the song. The fact that it's all so basic and average makes me even more upset that the Senbatsu's so small.

WHat a great song that is !
I love it. It's catchy, gives you energy.
This could have fit very well on an A side.

 

Could someone please correct the mistake on the wiki?

It's a Shibuya Nagisa/Kojima Karin WCenter, not Nagisa solo center.
