:asdfgh:最低… my internet was fine during the rehearsal documentary (boring — most of the content was rerun from the show), then when the actual performance started it got stuck, began to drop frames, then gave me a loading spinner, and I missed most of it. Then it worked just fine for the after-talk, and when I thought maybe I'd just rewind and watch it in peace, they unpublished the video. >( damn corpos wonder why people pirate stuff…

    how was it?

Edit after watching: well, the performance was nice. Not great, and I feel bad for them because we know how dedicated they are, so they're going to be beating themselves up about it pretty hard. But it was fun to watch. Sadly, they filmed only the actual performance with some rubbish lo-fi cameras o_O (or maybe they filmed from way too far away and zoomed in?) so the picture quality was a complete waste of Hinatas' pretty faces. Overall, could have been better from the side of the staff, the girls of course as usual put up a great effort considering how much time they had to learn.
My heart actually ached when I saw Toshi-chan get support for the backflip :cold:

There is mysterious countdown on the Hinatazaka homepage counting down to 29 May 12pm. Someone pointed out it is a silhouette of FuijiQ highland. So maybe a republic-like concert?

It also appeared on Sakurazaka46 website. Collaboration?

People say that last year ROK17 was youtube live streamed on the same date May 29. So most probably streaming ROK18 then. But roping in and hyping on Hinata homepage makes no sense, then-Hiragana was barely given time to perforn.

Maybe it will be just an announcement for their collaboration? Like, a summer concert at FujiQ together with Sakurazaka.

I really don't think it's that. Japan is getting new restrictions, I don't think they can do a live concert outdoor yet. It's most likely a RoK 2018 livestream.

I am very against this as I believe that the two groups are in different stages and trajectories. I don't think either side of the fans asked for this. The 11 July concert will be a farce like previous ROKs i guess.

I need a Sakamichi gathering (which also let Nogi in) more than having a nostalgia for something they once proclaimed as 'disbanded'.

Why is it W-keyaki? Keyakizaka doesn't exist anymore.

So, my prediction was correct. A joint concert. :hehe: I think, when Hinata performed Sekai ai in Music Blood, that was a hint of this concert.
Now, how Hinatazaka concert will be? Will there be festival theme like the usual Hinatazaka concert? Preparing the venue for that would be difficult for a joint concert.

I guess it would irritate some people less if they called Seed&Flower Fes or something? I can understand going for the nostalgia appeal, but how much Keyaki nostalgia is there really?

More importantly, planning a summer concert in this era sounds like an iffy proposition. Okinawa Sousenkyo rerun anyone?

It's a pity. Because yes both groups evolved in different directions, but in a way they are also closer now than they were in the Keyaki days, I think it makes more sense for Sakurazaka and Hinatazaka to share a stage than Tecchizaka and Hiragana-Keyaki. Just don't call it Keyaki Republic :^^;: unless you're renaming Seed&Flower to Keyaki Republic Ltd.
